Le chemin d'accès est extrêmement dégradé, bordé de ronces, d'orties et de déchets en tous genres, ce qui en fait un lieu assez sinistre ... Et quand en plus, plusieurs voitures se rejoignent jusqu'à minuit en faisant des marches avant, arrière, des demi-tours, ça n'a rien de très rassurant ... Ça sentait le junkie à plein nez. Spot qui dépanne quand on n'a rien d'autre !
Very degraded track, fine with our 4x4, but a bleak place on a rainy day. We didn’t stay.
Als je van rust houdt dan is dit de uitgelezen plek. Er zijn niet zoveel plaatsen waar een camper kan staan maar met wat zoeken vind je er wel een. Mooi uitzicht over het meer waarbij in de verte je af en toe een schip over de Theems ziet passeren
Stayed here Sunday night. Went right down the dirt track to where it branches off with a closed gate and there was a fairly level bit. The track itself is super bumpy, a few areas to pull in along it if you don’t want to go too far. Super quiet at night, if a bit windy - a few walkers in the morning and a couple of farm vehicles.
Great parkup with a view of a lake. A lot of rubbish scattered around and very bumpy. Saw some people fishing by the lake and sunbathing in the sun. If you have a low vehicle I wouldn't recommend but we had no issue in our Ducato except for scratching the bottom of our waste tap.
very nice spot and suitable for dog owners. alot of pot holes through! very quiet and secluded a few dog walkers early eve. 7 30pm and not a soul out! great spot. I parked right at end where u can turn around didn't really see a better space to stop but maybe a few before hand.
A really nice spot, the road is full of very large pot holes though so perhaps not ideal for Motorhome’s. Our LWB had no problems parking here or getting down the road, any turning point is quite far up the road though for longer vehicles. We saw a long eared owl when parking up, a very rare sight indeed! It would be so much nicer if there wasn’t litter absolutely everywhere though!
