Small pier/harbour arm near the smoke house, which you can visit (oldest smokehouse in Connemara). You can park by the wall without blocking fishermen. Water taps in the wall. Swimming possible from the pier head or the beach 100m away. Absolutely lovely white sandy beach with turquoise clear water

Beautiful spot to park for the night but strong SE wind made it difficult to park in the right direction. Had a lovely visit to the Smoke house in the morning. They have no problem with Campers but ask to always park tight to the harbor wall. You can also use their carpark in the low season but no more than 2 campers and to please back into parking spots, don't park lengthways.
lovley place for the night, park side of road before pier or on pier which is fully eliminate. if your lucky you'll meet a lovely fishing who had fresh crab claws❤️ Great place, credit to the community.
As so many places in Ireland where Piers birth boats, seafood and life, this is a special one, given it s lively activity. it is lit overnight and with the facilities and local acceptance provides for a worry-free experience. The smoked mackerel and salmon for a very yummy lunch.
a wonderful place, thanks to the community ! but what will ultimately get us ALL chucked out is having your breakfast table across almost the entire Quay (this morning). rude & entitled.

Beautiful place and quiet night. And just chatting with the friendly local fishermen Pat and Brian made this visit worth it. Also bought some lovely smoked mackerel and. tuna moose from the smokery
A beautiful part of the World. Spent a few nights there, very peaceful. It is a working pier, so please be mindful of the locals trying to earn a living. The local fishermen are great. We would especially like to thank Pat and his brother Kevin for the great craic and conversation, as well as the tips on local areas to visit. Ireland needs more people as friendly as this.

Lovely location right on the harbour. Two very clean portaloos plus numerous water taps. Very peaceful nights with three other vans & a great sunset.
Another beautiful spot ! Super quiet and calm ( working ) pier. Some great interactions with locals and fascinating watching the boats coming and going. Some noise starting at about 7am as work starts … Obviously, these times might change with tides. No services. Good 4g
Toller Ort. Der Fischer vor Ort empfahl uns das kostenlose Trinkwasser am Pier und war sehr unterhaltsam. Wir hatten das Glück am Samstag auf dem kleinen lokalen Fischmarkt direkt hinter unserm Van frischen Fisch zu kaufen. Köstlich :-). Schöne Spaziergänge möglich.
Nous avons passé une nuit dans ce super spot le long de la jeté du port avec accès à l'eau et deux WC. 2 vans aménagés et deux CC cette nuit là. Plage sympathique et magasin de saumon fumé à proximité. Merci à Pat, très sympathique pêcheur du coin, avec qui nous avons eu le plaisir de discuter et qui, avec toute sa gentillesse, nous a offert une douzaine de pinces de crabe ! un régal !
Schöner Stellplatz direckt am Pier, es gibt einen Frischwasseranschluß und 2 Dixi Toiletten. Nebenan ist eine Fischräucherei und ein kleines Cafe, unbedingt vorbeischauen.
Quelle magie ce spot! De belles rencontres avec les voisins, le pêcheur du coin tellement sympa! Le spot pour dormir est d’un calme absolu, à même le port, et la plage est sublime ! Des toilettes propres à dispo, et la visite de l’entreprise familiale de poissons fumes s’impose ! Excellent ;)

Wonderful spot. We stayed by the beach (2 camper vans) rather than on the pier (2 camper vans) - great views. Safe swimming. Wild weather overnight. Definitely recommend.
superbe endroit ! assez abrité du vent malgré la proximité immédiate de la mer. il y a des toilettes et un tuyau d'eau. S'il vous plaît, ne videz pas vos toilettes chimiques et ne les nettoyez pas avec le tuyau à disposition comme l'a fait un camping car autrichien ! quel dommage de se comporter comme cela car nous n'aurons plus accès à de si beaux endroits !
Perfect place to stop for a night. We met a local man who had been out fishing with his father and daughter and was cleaning and fileting their haul. We struck up a conversation about fishing in the area and our staying in a campervan and awhile into our conversation he offered us a couple of filets of Pollack and OMG wre they tasty. So thankful to Park4night.
Très beaux emplacements le long du mur du quai pour une demi- douzaine de camping-cars. Les pêcheurs vendent leur poisson sur le quai certains jours (en particulier le samedi matin). Belle plage à proximité et balade possible sur le front de mer en contournant les propriétés cloturées. WC et robinet d'eau sur place.
Stopped here overnight. There where two other campers here too. Lovely views over the pier wall and a great view of Bunowen Castle. It’s a quiet place and two very clean Portaloos on the pier too
Très bon endroit pour déjeuner. Petite balade autour du port et visite de là smokehouse Connemara à côté. Doit être bien pour la nuit aussi. On a trouvé de l’eau au port.
fantastic little bay. we parked right up against the wall, there are houses around and fishermen sorted out a boat untill about 9pm. but no-one disturbed us, we left early after using the tap to fill with water. quite, just not to be overused.

Très beau site, port pittoresque. Plage superbe, eau turquoise. Les robinets sur le quai sont bien pratiques. Deux toilettes de chantier sur le port. Absence totale de poubelles.
Prima overnachtingsplaats zonder voorzieningen. Lokale visser was aardig en gaf aan dat we hier mochten staan. Zorg ervoor dat je zo parkeert dat je de bedrijvigheid niet stoort.
No toilets on site, but a peaceful night, a refreshing swim and some other English neighbours! It was a lovely night listening to the water and we had a walk on the beach in the morning. Water taps available on the pier.

Nice bit of shelter from the wind against the wall. Lovely evening swim at the nearby beach and people coming and going in the evening to swim and jump in off the pier. A couple of other vans there the same night as us and they'd spoken to a local fisherman who suggested parking there. Very handy having the portaloos and taps too!
Effectivement idéalement placé, on peut dormir sur le port en se collant au mur, personne nous a rien dit (un peu à l’abri par vent). Pour la pêcherie : ce sont des produits d'exception mais attention aux prix ils sont eux aussi exceptionnel, très bien accueillie par un Français qui nous a fait goûter, et la plus moyen de résister la carte bleu à fumer comme le saumon.
Idéal pour acheter du saumon. 3 personnes parle français à la maison du saumon fumé. Visite tous les jours à 15h15. En français le jeudi. Très bon accueil. Je pense que l’on peut dormir sur le petit port, mais nous n’y sommes pas restés

Super spot ou on peut se garer à l'abri du mur de la jetée sans gêner les pécheurs. Tres calme, des promeneurs et des pêcheurs le matin. Plusieurs robinets d'eau tout le long de la jetée du port.
La fontaine est bien cachée, à coté du petit cabanon en pierre, joli coin
