Europe_By_RV09/10/2025We didn't see any sign for designated camper parking. We parked in the back to avoid the road noise and it was fine. The parking lot was completely empty except for us after 11pm. There is a 24/7 public paid washer and dryer. Free bathroom and WiFi in the store.
malc701019/09/2025Get you duty free before Calais if you can. We went into Auchan for 1/2 hour, came out and had lunch, someone tried the Habitation door while we were sat in the front with the windows open. They ran off after a few choice words from your narrator. I would avoid, too many opportunist thieves and the usual!

Bien pour une nuit très calme la nuit. Bus numéro 1 gratuit juste à côté du parking, trajet 20 minutes pour le centre ville.

Keep watch of your vehicle. Had a group of young boys looking in windows within 15 minutes.

Don’t even think about parking there. After shopping in Auchan a fellow motorhomer came over to us and said he saw someone get inside our bike rack. Sure enough there was someone in there.
