not a safe place to stay over night don't recommend it
Juste à l'extérieur de Blanavon
Just outside of blanavon. Views over the valley and distance mountains. Parking slightly sloped with good 4g signal. Road leading up to the stop is very narrow, I wouldn't recommend it for any vans larger than a campervan, it's a single track road for a good 10 minutes up a steep hill with the odd passing place

ChloeRebecca4416/08/2025Stay here at your own risk!!!! We parked up for the night. All was quiet, until it started to get dark. We heard loud scooters coming. As they reached our van, three young men in balaclavas stopped. We shut the doors, acted as if leaving, they left. 30 minutes later they returned, again stopping and pointing, acting very dodgy. I got out of the van, they left. Had to leave felt very uncomfortable

Fantastic views and a quiet spot. Very steep and narrow road on approach, you might struggle to access in a large vehicle, just about managed in a smaller sized campervan.
AgriGriff13/10/2024Perfect. A walled, level, gravelled parking area off a very quiet road with great views toward the Sugar Loaf mountain. Only a couple of cars parked for short periods of time and then left, had area to myself. Little road noise (from dual carriageway nr Abergavenny) and it’s dark enough to see the stars. Walls great for sitting or making breakfast on, some had had fires on grass/ car park area too
