I think they prefer you book before you arrive as they can only have 5 campervans at a time. Telephone - it is an answering machine but they get back to you quickly.

not a place I will be using again, water was difficult to get due to size of tap and location, no grey water facilities and to empty black waste you have to walk to the end of the cricket field. as others have said, it's just a car park and communication with site is only via email. on another note, we would've been far better off in the campsite further down the lane
We didn't book it as £13.19 to book it online. to stop in a car park, not for us. Maybe worth it for others though.
stopped here, but in the morning went to use the public loo in the community hut and a woman followed me into the toilet and was very nasty and intimidating, telling me that the toilets were for 'her' yoga class! what did she think I was going to do to them......I'm elderly with health issues. It upset me greatly with her attitude. Would never return.
Nice little Campra Aire, right in the village and a sheltered spot. Would recommend for visiting the village.
This is our 2nd stay here - 1 night traveling north & 2 nights heading back south :) Easy & safe coded entry. Walking distance to shops, cafes, pubs & railway. Hard standing flat surface. Pay online, Keith responds with supersonic speed to all enquirers!! Love this place.
Excellent spot for a few nights. Easy to book online. Perfect location for hopping on the train.
Fantastic stop over next to the community hall, who benefit from the fee paid. Well organised, booked in advance by email, and clear instructions provided in advance for entry to the car park. Very close to the village with excellent views. Quiet night with 4 other vans. Drinking water, black and grey waste as well as a rubbish bin are provided. Everything you need for a great night.
Welcoming spot. Can book online-they call/email to confirm code for lock on gate. Beautiful area, central to village, quiet spot for night. WiFi if you need it works cricket pitch side of hut. Benefits sports pavillon. Win all round.
Lovely place to camp for a few nights. Convenient to go to Whitby by bus or North Yorkshire Moors Railway. Great to support the local volunteer community.
