Great spot for our first van get away nice place food great and toilets and stuff are very clean. 5g aswell for the people that want to use Internet
Camping spacieux et familial, idéal si vous voyagez avec vos animaux de compagnie. De nombreuses activités sont proposées à proximité : réservoirs de pêche à seulement 2 minutes et les célèbres 7 cascades à proximité. Le camping abrite également un centre équestre et abrite de nombreux animaux, des chevaux aux vaches, en passant par les chèvres et même les paons, tous visibles depuis votre emplacement. Des douches neuves et un espace vaisselle rendent le camping très confortable. Bar et petit-déjeuner du jeudi au dimanche, avec une excellente cuisine et de bonnes bières pression à des prix raisonnables. Un lieu de séjour très décontracté et convivial – à recommander sans hésiter !

Brand new showers and a wash-up area make it really comfortable. Bar and breakfast Thurs–Sun with great food and proper draft beers at fair prices. Super relaxed and friendly place to stay – definitely recommend!
Großzügiger, familienfreundlicher Campingplatz, ideal auch für Haustiere. Direkt vor der Haustür gibt es viel zu erleben – Angelreservoirs nur 2 Minuten entfernt und die berühmten Seven Falls in der Nähe. Der Platz beherbergt außerdem einen Reitstall und bietet zahlreiche Tiere, von Pferden und Kühen über Ziegen bis hin zu Pfauen – alles sichtbar vom Stellplatz aus. Brandneue Duschen und ein Waschbereich sorgen für höchsten Komfort. Bar und Frühstück von Donnerstag bis Sonntag mit hervorragendem Essen und gutem Fassbier zu fairen Preisen. Eine super entspannte und freundliche Unterkunft – absolut empfehlenswert!

libbonser20/08/2025We’ve just stayed at Crossgate Campsite and couldn’t recommend it enough! The location is perfect – right by the fishing reservoirs and only a short walk to the famous 7 Falls. The site itself is spacious and really well looked after, with brand new shower facilities and a wash-up area that makes camping so easy. What really makes it special though are the surroundings – it’s part of an equestrian and you get to see horses, cows, goats and even peacocks wandering about, all from your pitch. The atmosphere is super relaxed and family-friendly, and the bar/breakfast (Thurs–Sun) was a real bonus – delicious food and great beers on draft at very fair prices. A beautiful, peaceful campsite that feels like a hidden gem – we’ll definitely be coming back!

simple and cheap campsite. walking distance to town. basic but scrupulous clean showers and toilet, and even a bar in the barn open at weekends if that's your thing. fresh water and washing up place. lovely owners and billy goats and horses to pet. we were charged £25 for a spot in their huge field for the night and the use of all the amenities.

Lovely quiet campsite with stunning views. Bit of a slope but it's manageable (I was in a SWB van), depends where you set up. facilities were clean. nice hot shower 20p for 2 mins or 1pound for 10 mins. The goats were adorable. They have a cafe on site but I didn't visit; maybe next time. Owners were welcoming enough. Would visit again.

Very basic. Far from level. Facilities are porta loos and cabin showers. Staff and views are lovely though….
