Was approached by a resident as soon as I parked saying if I’d stay the night they’d report me to the local council as part of a petition because it was “blocking the views of their lovely houses”. He was polite but still made me feel very unwelcome so I moved on. Have since heard from locals of neighbouring towns that Knudsford is known to be quite highbrow so maybe not surprising

Avoid Tabley Road completely — locals are seriously fed up. People have been dumping waste and using the woods as a toilet, and the road is blocking driveways so residents have been getting confrontational and it’s turned the area hostile. Got approached and made to feel very unwelcome. Feels like enforcement is only a matter of time. Not worth the hassle — better spots out there

Parked here on a Friday evening. lots of cars parked there, but most left around 5pm which was handily when we arrived. A bit of noise from passing cars later on, but generally quiet. Popped to Booths supermarket in the morning to get supplies and use their loos - their main carpark has a height barrier, but there are some spaces outside of that.

Lovely spot, great for a quick stopover. A bit loud with planes and cars, glad I had earplugs

lovely little spot, quite and a great place to walk my dog in the morning.

Very handy spot close to M6. Overlooked by houses/flats though, and a car drove past at 5am blasting horn at each of the 3 vans parked up. Would use it again though.

Bon spot pour passer une nuit assez calme non loin de l’autoroute. Places en pente. Parc à proximité, beaucoup de promeneurs le matin.

Great stop off, not far off the M6. Quiet tree lined road next to a woodland and open grass area. Ideal if you've got a dog and need to take it for a stroll. We arrived around 10pm and left 7am, around a little stroll round the woods with the dog. Fairly quiet overnight except the occasional car passing.

Can’t see how the last review only gave 3 stars, plenty of parking along the whole road to get yourself comfortable and level and an 8/10 minute walk to a fantastic little town,I recommend the little pub d13 Irish pub, still unclear why it’s called that but a conversation starter not that ya need it as everyone is so nice and polite

Parked up last night, 2 wheels just on the kerb to level up. Quiet enough after 10pm ish and traffic passing again from 7am ish. A good free stopover to visit a nice wee town on a long journey South from Scotland. There is a bin close by also.
