Superbe endroit à environ 9,6 km de l'A47. Fraîchement aménagé. À 2 minutes à pied de deux jolis gués, idéal pour les chiens ou les enfants car facilement accessibles. Évitez de vous y aventurer, car le terrain est plus profond qu'il n'y paraît. Un sentier de randonnée d'environ 11 km se trouve également à proximité. À proximité se trouve Castle Acre, un endroit agréable pour se promener. Vous trouverez une boutique dans le village. La ville la plus proche est Swaffham, avec ses nombreux commerces, son marché et sa vente aux enchères le samedi. C'est un endroit très fréquenté par les promeneurs de chiens, mais ils ne s'attardent pas longtemps. Attention, s'il fait chaud, il y aura beaucoup de monde car beaucoup de gens viennent jouer dans l'eau. Il y a de la place pour plusieurs camping-cars. Nous avons beaucoup utilisé cet endroit et n'avons jamais eu de problème la nuit.
Awesome spot about 6 mile from the A47. Has been freshly laid with hard core. 2 min walk to a lovely couple of fords so ideal for dogs or kids as it's easily accessed. Do not drive into the fords as it's deeper than it looks. Also here is a walking trail of about 7 mile. Nearby is Castle Acre, a lovely place to have a walk round and there is a shop in the village. Nearest town is Swaffham with lots of amenities and a market and general auction on a Saturday. This is a busyish area for dog walkers but they don't linger long. Bear in mind if it is hot it will get busy as a lot of people come and play in the water. There is room for several campers. We have used this spot a lot and have never had any night time bother.

Fahren Sie nicht in die Furten, da sie tiefer sind als sie aussehen. Hier gibt es auch einen ca. 7 Meilen langen Wanderweg. In der Nähe liegt Castle Acre, ein schöner Ort für einen Spaziergang, und im Dorf gibt es ein Geschäft. Die nächste Stadt ist Swaffham mit vielen Annehmlichkeiten und einem Markt und einer allgemeinen Auktion am Samstag. Dies ist eine ziemlich belebte Gegend für Hundebesitzer, aber sie verweilen nicht lange. Bedenken Sie, dass es bei Hitze voll wird, da viele Leute kommen und im Wasser spielen. Our 3rd stay here and it’s still lovely. No one approached us saying it’s private land. Had a pleasant night but very windy one ! Dog walkers came and went and were polite to us. Walked to the Stag pub. Excellent beer but it appears to have changed hands. Re wilding cattle on the path on the way back interesting encounter ! We love staying here and we hope it will continue to be available
Had the owner of this land visit us, its private land no overnight parking allowed. He was very pleasant about it too, beautiful place for a day visit and it’s free
Great quiet stay with 2 other campers, beautiful walks through re-wilding areas so dogs on leads but also woodlands the other way which we saw deers within metres of us. Signal decent too. Stag pub around 5 minute walk away for refreshments on benches in the spring sun
a very nice secluded place, very quiet at night, popular with dog walkers. Nice views over the field. spent two quiet nights here. park considerably and do not leave any trace. recommended.

Plek waar wandelaars en hondenuitlaters parkeren. Het zal niet echt de bedoeling zijn om te overnachten, maar er staan geen bordjes dat het niet mag. Er liggen geen huizen heel dichtbij. Het ligt aan een weg met vrij weinig verkeer.
Large gravel flat car park - right on walkway and re wilded nature reserve. Very peaceful - easy access and bins available. Great walks both to West Acre along path from car park or circular walk to Castle Acre via the Ford. Wildlife in abundance .
en pleine nature, calme. ravis de cet endroit après la galère dans ce secteur pour pouvoir se poser où tout est fait pour écarter les camping-cars. nous étions 4 cc. espérons que ça reste accessible.
Stayed 20/06/24.Only MH on site. Few dog walkers in the evening and late on in the morning.You are on walking routes and close to small river.Deer walked past the end of car park. Beautiful views across grassland.So peaceful.No potholes.Freshly re-gravelled.Two bins.Very clean.

Fabulous spot only here for one night but all alone. Extremely quiet. star gazing is great. Walk down the footpath to the Stag pub. Great welcome. Log burner. Pub closed Mondays. We didn’t have food but beer lovely. Mind the path as it’s v muddy when it’s been raining West Acre beautiful spot. One bin please don’t leave rubbish respect the area. walkers but they were pleasant. We will return here
A really lovely spot with great views, very quiet at night, some lovely walks and very friendly dog walkers, locals etc. There were three of us in the car park overnight and still plenty of room for the local dog walkers etc. Will definitely stay again.
great stop over. Very quiet, with friendly locals. the pub in West Acre is great. we stopped for two nights, so that we could do the 7 mile circular walk through Castle Acre. Would highly recommend.
Stayed here for 1 night so far,other comments were spot on,may stay for another night after having a tour around locally,2 bins located near entrance and flat ground
An absolutely lovely place to stop for the night - quiet, level a good surface and wheelie bins. 200 yards from a beautiful ford on the River Nar with walks in both directions to West Acre (pub, brewery & theatre) and Castle Acre (castle, priory, pub, cafe). What’s not to love! Please leave as you find and keep this place special
Pasamos una noche muy tranquila, Todo es como se describe anteriormente. Una zona para caminar ( con perros) y visitar luego el priorato de West Acre.
