The parking lot is large and perfect for day parking. It’s a 20 minute walk to the main road. We do not recommend this for overnight parking however due to the incredibly excessive noise. By 9pm, the car park was completely full. The noise continued until 1am. Cars moved and drove around all night. Motorbikes were racing around the area. Loud talking all around also. Not a peaceful night.
Parking is fine for one night, but be careful parking in this town. We parked at the KAM store and after 15 minutes of shopping they put a lock on our wheel. Also, the local told us that the fine is usually 100 denars, but we were issued a 1000 denars fine after only exceeding the 5 minute parking time. What we understood, they do this specifically to foreigners.
Alles wie beschrieben, ruhige Nacht und am Morgen in die Schwimmhalle zum Duschen und Schwimmen. Eintritt immer noch knapp 5€ für 2 Personen aber nur cash in Landeswährung. Der freundliche und englisch sprechende Betreiber der Bar im Schwimmbad tauschte uns sehr korrekt Euro in Dinar um.
Very nice big parking lot. In the evening it got more busy, but in the morning it was very empty so no worries about getting stuck by other parked cars. For a city a very quiet parking.
lugar con bastante movimiento, pero ruido normal de un parking concurrido. Noche tranquila y segura. incluso persona del lugar se movió amablemente para darnos su espacio que nos acomodaba mejor a nuestra camper de 7 metros. recomendado para una noche
ideal für eine Nacht, eben, kein Service, nur Mülltonnen. am Schwimmbad (7 uhr geöffnet, 150 mkd, nur cash, ganz ok sogar), Bars und Supermarkt fussläufig erreichbar. Laternen hell, Stadtverkehr und Bewegungen auf dem Parkplatz erfordern ggf Ohrstöpsel. Bettelkinder klopfen an.
Hatten hier eine relativ ruhige und angenehme Nacht, trotz Wochenende. Leckere Bäckerei und mehrere Cafés in direkter Nähe. Zu Fuß in die Innenstadt sind es ca. 15 Minuten. Wir waren (wieder mal) im Baba Cana Corner essen, hervorragend, sollte man machen, wenn man in Kumanovo ist :)
