Basic site. Facilities not very clean. Overflowing waste bin was very smelly. Stayed just one night .

bobski68322/05/2025We stayed for one night (last night). Showers and toilets were basic, and lacking maintenance. But when we mentioned about it in the pub, bar lady apologised, went out and cleaned it herself, and gave us a free round in the pub! Still a little pricey for the night at 25 Euros, for basic facilities. But the views were great, and the pub good was great. Near to some nice local trails.
annag125/04/2025We stayed here for 2 nights over the Easter weekend. It is in a lovely area, a few km’s outside Killaloe. However, we were very disappointed with the condition of the showers and toilets. They were very dirty, to the extent that I couldn’t use the showers. I said it in the pub but there was no improvement. I also emailed when we returned home but haven’t received a reply. We won’t return.

Simple and wonderfully small campsite with a neat washing area, nice toilets and simple showers - not of the highest standard, but they do the trick! - managed by and based around the back of a beautiful country pub with great coffee!

zeer afgelegen en rustig , 1 nacht met camper 2 volwassen en 2 kinderen electriciteit = 36 euro , sanitair kan beter er is wel toiletpapier .

Good little campsite tucked behind the pub. Good for a stop or walks. Basic facilities, but good enough for disposal and water takeon. A bit pricy for what you get, at €30 per night.
Uwe-K22/07/2023Der Campingplatz liegt ca 500m von der Hauptstraße entlang des Sees Lough Dergh, man folgt dem Schild zum ‚Piper‘s Inn‘. Von der Hauptstraße gibt es kein Hinweis auf den Campingplatz. Anmeldung erfolgt im Pub / Restaurant direkt nebenan, einfache Sanitäranlagen sind auf dem Camping-Gelände vorhanden. Informationen, Buchung, Preise etc. findet man auf der Website des Campingplatzes.
