very quiet and peaceful. lovely church to visit and walk around grave yard.

OmaKerstin02/05/2024Absolute Ruhe hier. Ein sehr schönes Dorf mit herrlichen Häusern. Wir haben seit unsere nun schon 5 wöchigen Rundreise durch Schottland noch so keinen ruhigen Platz gehabt.

Tiny little hamlet. We arrived at 11pm and left at 10:00. Right next to the cemetery. No issues. Flat parking. Posted a note with £5 towards village funds as I think it keeps villagers sweet (we live in a similar spot)

There are a couple of cottages overlooking the car park from around 75m distance away, but not too bad, especially as we arrived after dark and parked at the far end. The car park is fairly large and flat, immaculate gravel, between church and village hall. We had a peaceful night, until the council gardeners arrived at 8.30 to mow the churchyard! A good place for a stopover
