such a shame that this closes at 6.30pm and no overnight sleeping. I parked all day for £7.20, had a lovely day in Helmsley and then did the 10km walk to Rievaulx Abbey. was rushing to make sure I was back before 6.30pm before I got locked in. toilets available and rubbish and recycling bins

Heerlijk rustige nacht gehad. Fijn plekje om te overnachten, wel naar de laatste parkeerplaats rijden om te overnachten!
did722/08/2023An diesem Ort hat es an dieser Stelle 3 Parkplätze: 1) höhenbegrenzt, Bake abends und morgens zumindest gelegentlich offen, 2) Wohnmobil-Parkplatz mit großen Plätzen aber „no overnight parking“ und 3) den Overflow Parkplatz: mit einem dickeren Caravan besser zwei Slots (tagsüber) bezahlen. Kein Übernachtungsverbot aber unbeleuchtet und nachts ruhig. Fast etwas zu dunkel. Die Stadt ist toll!

Clearly signposted “large motorhome” parking area opposite coaches BUT also a very clear “No overnight sleeping” sign so presumably just for daytime visitors.
