Schöner Meerblick, auch einigermaßen gerade in der Nähe des Hafens, aber leider an einer sehr viel befahrenen Straße an der das Wohnmobil immer wieder komplett wackelt. Auch nachts fahren hier die Autos sehr laut und schnell vorbei. Also leider nicht sehr entspannt!
Spent two nights with no issues, heard some cars but it’s on a main road so what can be expected. Toilets close by, town centre 5 min walk and beautiful beach, what’s not to like. We would definitely come back.
pas op. je voertuig moet geheel binnen de lijnen staan anders krijg je een bekeuring. dit geld in geheel Torqai. is zeer onvriendelijk tegenover camperaars met wagens boven de 5 meter.
allowed 24 hours (£12.50) not the quietest of places with the traffic but at least you can overnight which makes a change, lovely sunrise over Torquay
Right on the seafront by Torre Abbey Sands and Meadow. Quite busy, can't deny, but woke to a beautiful sunrise, no crashes overnight ;). Costa Coffee along the way opens at 06:30, nice! The public loos almost opposite are very clean, open at 8am, with 30p contactless payment to get in. There is also a very good shower off the entrance too. 50p for 12 minutes, contactless payment.
nope, wanna have people drive past you at 70-80mph intermittently through the night... and I mean the whole night... within a few inches coming from the rear. it's an accident waiting to happen. they be trying to do drifting around this road. Motorbikes nearly crashing into the pavement. lorries screeching past.... no this ain't a good spot... go else where where it's safer.
Parked up on Torbay Rd, near to the public toilets (open at 5 when we left the van, closed at midnight when we got back, open again at 8am) £11.50 for the night. Told to make sure we were completely within the bay (which we were - just - in our LWB Trafic) Bit of road noise, but not that kept us awake (maybe due to the walk in the fresh air/sociable beverages or dancing/singing at the gig).
Effectivement une belle vue mais très bruyant avec la circulation et beaucoup de passages à pied la nuit (c'était un samedi soir!). On était les seuls stationnés A éviter si beaucoup de vent
parked up at 10.30am and went to pay via ring go app. realised you had to pay for 24 hours and stop if you were going to leave earlier. so I stayed for 24 hours no problems. bit noisy as main road.... it is September but still nice to wake up to a sea view.... all for £11.50 cheaper than a campsite ..
