Great stop over. Got there late, the place was full but the owners were very helpful by allowing us to stay in the car park. Great night sleep

Stayed here for 2 nights, really excellent spot. Friendly staff. Surrounded by trees with central green area for tents but also picnic tables, ball games etc. Kids loved exploring the woods. Lots of walking and cycling trails and nearby playground, 2nd hand bookshop and cafe at Castle Ward house

Super accueil, sanitaires très propres, machine à laver et sèche-linge hyper efficaces, au calme et comme dit dans le précédent commentaire, idéal pour visiter le Ward Castle, un petit château assez surprenant, avec un descriptif en français, ce qui est assez rare en Irlande ! 33€ électricité incluse pour 2 adultes et un camping car. Vidanges et plein d'eau très bien conçus.

Accueil chaleureux d’un couple franco-irlandais au cœur d’une forêt tout près d’un joli château et d’un parc avec randonnées (et possibilité de voir des phoques) lieu de tournage Game of trône quartier commerçants très agréable alpagas. Camping car Park, tentes ou cabanes très bien entretenus et sanitaires très propres. Lave linge et Sèche linge sur place. Idéal pour tout public.

Un petit camping charmant agrémenté de grands arbres et de chants d´oiseaux. Des sanitaires impeccables et très bien agencés de même que les services. Signalons la confiance des propriétaires. On s´installe et on paye le lendemain. Que du positif.

Super sympa! En semaine, ce camping est très calme, en plein milieu de la nature. Tout fonctionne: wc très propres, douches nickel, coin déchets. On recommande à 100%.

petit camping très agréable dans un site splendide. le soir et le matin vous avez tout le parc de castle ward pour vous seuls. installations nickel. Eric à l'accueil est français. et pour les amateurs de game of throne winterfell est a 15 min à pied en longeant la mer.

We paid £23 after arriving late on December afternoon. No one around, but message on white board indicating which pitches were available. We were the only van there. Stunning to wake up in such a beautiful setting. Staff member turned up to office in morning. Super friendly and helpful. Great walk to Castle Ward for coffee.

Camping familial tenu par la national trust. Les campeurs étaient très accueillants et le personnel également! Nous sommes arrivé tard, après la fermeture de l’accueil, et les campeurs nous ont indiqué où nous installer. Le matin l’équipe a été très sympathique et de bon conseil pour continuer notre périple ! Les douches sont chaude et les installations en très bon état !

Prima uitgeruste camping. Mooie wandelingen in het domein van Castle Ward. Toegang inbegrepen in de prijs van de camping. Een aantal plaatsen zijn wat hellend.

De mooiste en beste plek in onze 3 weekse trip door Ierland. Brandschoon. Alle faciliteiten. Gastvrij ontvangst. Prachtige omgeving met mooie trails. Dichtbij Strangford, een gezellig plaatsje ca 15 min lopen. Topplek!

Sehr hilfsbereiter und überaus freundlicher Platzwart. Ruhige und freundliche Anlage umgeben von Wald.

Excellent small 28 pitch National Trust site, clean toilets, hot powerful showers and 20 minute walk into Strangford village which has a couple of shops, barber, hairdresser and several pubs. For some the attraction is Winterfell, from GoT, for others Castleward with its two quite different facades

Stayed here one night and arrived without booking. Really nice quiet place, friendly warden, hot showers, good waste disposal ( even had hot water there). Lovely walks in the Castle Ward estate straight from site and entry included if you stay on site. I think if site full including tents in centre may be noisier and too many people for facilities but when we were there it was perfect and relaxing
