We stopped here for the day. Wide parking area. May be noisy with traffic at night but worth stopping to visit village
Parking le long de la route en face de l'hôtel Eccles et de la station-service. Places de parking des deux côtés de la route N71, donc pas très calme. Bon point d'entrée pour kayak/canoë. Environ 500 m du village avec quelques pubs. Au bord de l'eau avec une très belle vue sur le port.
Parking along the road opposite Eccles Hotel and petrol station. Parking bays on both sides of the N71 road, so not very quiet. Good entry point for kayak/canoe. About 500 m to the village with a few pubs. Right on the water with a very nice view of the harbor.
Parkplatz entlang der Straße gegenüber Eccles Hotel und Tankstelle. Parkbuchten beidseitig der Straße N71, daher nicht ganz ruhig. Guter Einstieg für Kajak/Kanu. Ca 500 m in den Ort mit einigen Pubs. Direkt am Wasser mit sehr schönem Blick auf den Hafen.

Stayed one day/night here and it was easy for exploring the town and Garnish Island. Heavy traffic during the day but slept well since there was barely any traffic between 10pm-7am (Sun night). Would recommend
Dan_W17/08/2025good for a couple of hours, to see the town. nice loop walk nearby to the blue pool. did not stay overnight as the van rocked everytime a vehicle passed by.
JAofPW05/05/2025Wide parking bay, but not subdivided into car spaces which is good. Parked opposite garage (not 24hr) rather than hotel. Great for Bamboo Garden, coast path around village and ferry to island (no overnight parking in ferry car park). Right on main road so noisy , but bearable for one night for a space near bars/shops/ restaurants.
campervancastaways16/04/2025Parked during the day to see the beautiful area on foot, gorgeous Blue Pool walk, lovely little village & foot ferry to the island. Probably wouldn’t park here overnight as it’s on the main road and opposite a big hotel which has its rooms overlooking the view in front of where you’d be parked, but fine for the day.
fermorpl193030/09/2024Stayed the night of 14/9/24 but wished we'd stayed in the ferry car park as others did. This is because the road was so noisy with people driving past very fast. Thoroughly recommend the trip to Garinish Island.
Michele2943015/09/2022Superbe vue mais oui vraiment le long d'une route où ça circule beaucoup à partir de 6h30 et rapidement mais nous voulions profiter des pubs sans devoir conduire et c'était l'endroit le plus près. Le parking du port était en travaux... Il y a la station essence en face, bien pour le café du matin.
