We enjoyed our stay here so much in May. It was so quiet when we attended and the view was mesmerizing. A good hours scenic walk into Bakewell town. A very enjoyable peaceful weekend away.
Un charmant camping paisible qui coûte raisonnablement 7 £ par adulte et par nuit. Deux champs et les douches et la vaisselle se trouvent entre les deux. Vous aurez besoin de pièces de monnaie ou de pièces de 20 pence pour l'eau chaude (douche et lavabos). Installations basiques mais pour 7 £ qui peut se plaindre ?! Belles promenades tout autour. Chiens autorisés tenus en laisse. Belles vues sur le mur de pierre.
A lovely peaceful campsite that is a reasonable £7 per adult per night. Two fields and the showers and washing up sit between the two. You’ll need pound coins or 20p pieces for hot water (shower and sinks). Basic facilities but for £7 who can grumble?! Lovely walks all around. Dogs allowed on leads. Beautiful views over the stone wall.
Ein schöner, friedlicher Campingplatz, der einen vernünftigen Preis von £ 7 pro Erwachsenem und Nacht hat. Dazwischen liegen zwei Felder und die Duschen und der Abwasch. Sie benötigen Pfundmünzen oder 20-Pence-Stücke für heißes Wasser (Dusche und Waschbecken). Grundausstattung, aber für 7 Pfund, wer kann meckern?! Schöne Spaziergänge rundherum. Hunde an der Leine erlaubt. Schöne Aussicht über die Steinmauer.

Kevinbryan10/08/2025Lovely site and very reasonable at £9pp and £6pn for electric if needed. Also has toilets and showers £1 for five minutes takes £1coins and 20p coins. it also has washing up areas. Really nice views front the site of the farmland and fields. we stayed from 9th August 2025

Un accueil charmant des propriétaires qui ont bien voulu nous accueillir (Camping car) malgré la fermeture des réservations du fait des intempéries et du terrain trop détrempé pour des véhicules lourds. Donc super sympa de nous avoir accueilli quand même sur un emplacement en dur réservé à la ferme. Belle expérience, je recommande. Phil

Great location to walk to Bakewell either directly or via the lovely Lathkill dale along the river Lathkill. Lathkill hotel at Over Haddon is well worth a stop on a sunny day with stunning views towards Youlgreave.
D4517/09/2023Peaceful spot, nice view and good range of facilities. Hook up available for an extra £10 per night. Phone service okay-ish, WiFi good. You'll need 20p pieces or pound coins for hot water for the shower or washing up area.

A beautiful, peaceful spot. Had some of the quietest nights we've had - just lovely. It'd been very wet before we got there and unfortunately we got stuck on the field but farmer quickly towed us out no problem! There's a slightly firmer area near toilets so parked there and all fine. Great hot showers - £1 for 5 mins - and lots of recycling bins. Walked into Bakewell in about 50 minutes. Lovely.
