Endroit au calme pour se garer si on veut visiter Glasgow. Arrêt de bus non loin du parking
Plusieurs places de parking.
Aucune interdiction de dormir sur place. Les places sont situées juste à côté d'une petite cabane qui vend du café et le parking donne un vue sympa sur le lac.

No ban on sleeping on site. The spaces are located right next to a small hut that sells coffee and the parking lot has a nice view of the lake.
Mehrere Parkplätze. Kein Schlafverbot vor Ort. Die Sitzplätze befinden sich direkt neben einer kleinen Hütte, die Kaffee verkauft. und der Parkplatz bietet einen schönen Blick auf den See.

J'ai dormi cette nuit à cet endroit je ne m'y sentais vraiment pas en sécurité, beaucoup de va et vient de voiture, klaxon, crie, rire terrifiant et ce jusqu'à pas d'heure, cette la vue est bien mais une fois la nuit tombée c'est une autre atmosphère.

Sehr schön gelegener Platz an wunderschönem See. Keine Höhenbegrenzung. Ideal für Familien (Spielplatz, Minigolf und co in unmittelbarer Nähe) und Hundebesitzer: der Rundgang um den kleinen See ist wunderschön. Sehr freundliche Spaziergänger allerorts. Toiletten des Freizeitbereichs konnten wir mitbenutzen. Mülleimer vor Ort, kein Frisch- oder Abwasser. Super ruhig nachts. Gerne wieder!!
Sterzbachbub10/08/2025Schön gelegener Platz. relativ unruhig, aber nicht besonders laut. Sonntags morgens ab 7:00 Uhr viele Menschen mit Hunden und Jogger unterwegs. Kaffee gab’s am Kiosk leider keinen für eine Nacht sehr zu empfehlen..

Easy to access and very calm and safe. Good location for one night. The little cabane has good coffee and breakfast rolls so ine can start the day easily and be on the way. Absolutely recommended.

Kept awake until 5am with groups of kids in cars playing ridiculous loud music on their speakers. The lake and the Swans are beautiful to look at but not worth coming back to a sleepless night again. Absolutely will not be returning again.

De tous les parkings de notre séjour se fut le plus décevant. Sale, pourtant il y a des poubelles, mai il y a pleins de déchets partout. Ce parking est situé près d'un parc fréquenté de jour comme de nuit. Arrivés vers 22h, nous n'avons pas pu nous reposer à cause de jeunes locaux qui s'y retrouvent pour des flirts, font du bruit, klaxonnent pour communiquer entre eux.

Spent a lovely midweek night here. Fairly quiet and a lovely view to wake up to. Convenient location and although I arrived around 9pm there were plenty spaces to choose from. Be aware of the car park leading to a narrow dead end though. Would recommend.
notmyid08/05/2024Spaces are small for vans & motorhomes. Be careful - This is not the new parking lot right next door - that is for Golf-It users and strictly forbids overnight parking.

Emplacement sur un parking gratuit près d’un lac. Assez côtoyé en journée mais les places se libèrent en début de soirée. Ligne de bus directe pour le centre de Glasgow. Attention à ne pas confondre avec le parking du golf juste à côté qui lui est interdit.

Parkplatz wurde erweitert und hat jetzt auch Platz für große Wohnmobile. Die Runde um den See ist nett mit schön angelegten Wegen. Und die Kaffeebude verkauft guten Kaffee. Wir haben uns hier sehr wohlgefühlt.

Excellent parking spot. We spent 2 nights here. Lovely view of the lake and also a nice walk around the lake. Easy access on the no 38 bus, (about an 8 minute walk to the bus stop), into the city centre. It does get quite busy with dog walkers and runners, but it wasn't noisy. The only downside were the overflowing bins, but this seems to be an issue elsewhere around Glasgow!

Für uns ist der Parkplatz sehr gut gewesen. Vor allem, wenn man bedenkt, er ist mitten in der Stadt, aber in einem sehr schön gelegenen Park. Gute Entfernung nach Glasgow. Der Platz selber ist recht stark, frequentiert nachts, teilweise mit Jugendlichen und lauter Musik, und morgens mit vielen Schwänen zu Begrüßung.

Totally fine in my opinion; quite a busy wee place with lots of parking bays. Good handful of people feeding the swans at night and also girl racers but noise disturbance wasn’t an issue at all. No eerie going ons either. It is close to a rough neighbourhood but we (mum, dad and 7 month old baby) were totally fine. Didn’t find it dirty either but it was very busy in the morning

Der Parkplatz ist verschmutzt und aufgrund des unheimlichen Treibens sorgt dieser Ort eher für Unbehagen. Wir haben den Parkplatz verlassen und sind weitergefahren. Keine Empfehlung für alle die einen ruhigen Stellplatz suchen.

Ruhig, kostenlos, in 30 Minuten per Bus im Zentrum und Früh gibts die Möglichkeit einen Kaffee zu kaufen oder Mittag zu essen. Top!
