really lovely location and rocks but had no signal at all, nearly in clean air zone and quite a busy road with little privacy

Laliechateigne12/08/2024Un endroit très sympathique, pas de restriction. Pas de services. Cependant une vue très jolie sur les roches, il est même possible de les gravires. En haut se trouve une très grande place en herbe, parfait pour contempler le coucher de soleil. Pour finir, de l' emplacement une vue sur le pont suspendu de Clifton. Seul petit bémol le parking se situe juste à côté du route donc un peu bouillant.
chazman180320/06/2024It’s a good spot to park and handy for the night but it’s tight entry and the road is just behind so slightly noisy. Please bear in mind this is the climbing carpark so don’t stay here too long else climbers won’t be able to park

Decent spot for the night, tight squeeze on entry. Flat surface, and great grass area for my dog :) signal was pretty poop due to cliff, and can hear the road, but it didn’t disturb us.

Wir haben hier 2 angenehme Nächte verbracht. Ab morgens zwar viele Verkehrsgeräusche, aber nach Einbruch der Dunkelheit hat der Verkehr deutlich nachgelassen und die Nächte waren ruhig.

fairly small car park between the road and the cliff, entrance is restricted with boulders to about 2.4M wide. we went for a walk to the suspension bridge from here but didnt stay the night due to the noise and lack of signal, spot ontop of the cliff is better
HermioneH11/04/2023Reasonable option when it’s so limited in Bristol. Very noisy traffic all night, and patchy phone signal. Can get very windy. Uber possible into city centre.

Great location just outside the centre with a good view of the Clifton suspension bridge. Arrived just after 09:30pm on a Saturday and there was already a sprinter and caddy parked up. Plenty of space for us (vw camper) and another camper turned up, enough space for 5 comfortably. A few pot holes and a tight entrance and a bit noisy due to being next to main road but for a free park up, it’ll do!
NonLostSouls20/11/2022Stayed here for 1 night after a gig in Bristol. Had a quiet night, beautiful place to wake up to. Fun watching the rock climbers... No bins . Busy road but was quiet during the night. One other van when we arrived and a few cars in the morning.

Good spot to park up for free. Close to Bristol centre by car, but would be a long walk. Road was busy, but we slept just fine.

Gerade so zwischen den Felsen durchgekommen (unser Wohnmobil ist 3m breit, 8m lang), hatten den gesamten Platz für uns. Es gibt keinerlei Schilder mit Parkhinweisen/Verboten. Problemlos die Nacht dort verbracht. Ein Stern Abzug, weil es wirklich wahnsinnig laut war. Der Platz liegt direkt neben einer mehrspurigen Straße. Nachts in Ordnung, ab früh morgens extrem.

nice spot however very tight getting in, just about got a normal sized van through the two rocks. quiet and spacious, good spot for dogs
