Great spot, parked up for the night and wasn’t too busy. One or two other campers. Slightly busy with dog walkers and farmers going through but you feel secluded and out of the way. Windy by the sea. No chance for a swim as it’s more of an avery

Lovely spot, fairly busy with other campers and dog walkers but nothing untoward. Would definitely stay here again.

We stayed here for 2 nights with no problem. Pretty level parking if not a little rough. Fab views overlooking the estuary. Bins are available for litter. Nice easy walk into Knott End which takes about 1 and a half hours. We had peaceful sleeps with no disturbance. The approach road was said to be narrow but really it is quiet and no major problem to drive down, there were some large motorhomes.

Fab spot. Lots of space, level and close to beach (be it muddy marshland) still great for the children to explore & a good dog walk.

nice spot, very quiet, nearly no vehicles passing by at night. Next to the beach but it is impossible to see the sea, way to far...walking is in the mud before you are on the hard stretch of the beach. We liked it because of the nature.

Nice quite spot, good views, the odd farm vehicle passing, plenty of people walking dogs, 2 motorhomes plus my camper there, good nights sleep recomended. Only facilities are 2 X bins.

Very quiet throughout the night a couple of other vans here & a few cars come during the evening but just park up nothing untoward. Dog walkers early morning. Very flat good sized hard standing rubbish bins available. Estuary walks and wildlife. Very nice :-)

I was here in August, quiet spot, plenty space, couple of bins, good walk along the coast, will be back again.

Sehr viel Platz, ruhige Nacht. Am Tag kommen viele Besucher mit Hunden oder Pferde. Jedoch sehr freundlich! Mülleimer vorhanden.

Super Platz! einfach toll! ruhig und in der Natur. Recht voll an einem Wochenende. Nach 22h kamen Junge, die mit dem Quad am Beach ihre Runden gefahren sind und relativ laut waren.

Lovely and quiet. No services but we wanted peace and quiet so it was ideal

We stayed for one night (26/05/2024), easy to find, plenty of space to use. There was a bin but no toilet or shower facilities. The beach is less then a minute walk and although the sea was far away the view was beautiful. There is a tarmac path where you can walk along the seaside. The sunset is a must watch. Nice and quiet, police drove past but did not bother. The nights were quiet.

Lovely little stop over for our maiden voyage. Quiet overnight, great views with plenty of room to park. We met some lovely people and enjoyed the coastal walk with our dog. Couple of bins on site too. will definitely be back.

Quiet night although amazing amount of through traffic considering it goes nowhere. Two bins in lay-by and tarmac coastal path to Knott End - so many over wintering birds such as Knot, Pink Foot Geese etc.

Nice, quiet stop over. Lanes are a bit twisty and narrow to get here, especially in the dark, but the sunsets and sun rises are worth it. Three vans here when we stopped. Popular with dog walkers and horse riders in the day. A wheelie bin for rubbish.

Excellent place lovely and quiet , lay-by to the right only gets 2 or 3 vans in lay-by on the left loads of space and littler bins aswell

Perfect little spot, dustbins, no toilets, plenty of room. Dog walkers and horses visit often and the occasional microlight taking off. No shop or pub in Pilling village but plenty 1-2 miles east with paved coastal walk/cycle. Drive in from the east side of the site for a fully paved road, west side is just a track. No parking restrictions but don’t block the tracks as it’s used by local farmers.

We stopped here last night and had a walk to Knott End along the coastal path. The location is large enough for a number of campervans, there were 5 there, including us. Great views over Morecambe Bay, and we were treated to an amazing sunset.

Stopped over to break the journey having decided to travel to the Lakes on Friday night rather than early Saturday morning. Nice stop and sheltered enough behind the sea defence wall. Lots of space and only one other van overnight. One late car and popular with dog walkers and horse riders from early morning. Will use again.

Quiet, flat and plenty of space. nice views out to sea over the marshes.

Quiet lane, 4/5 other camper vans. Once dog walkers go it’s quite spacious and right by the beach too.

Stopped here for one night 8th of June, lovely and quiet and good for walking the dog on the beach and knott village would go back

On a clear day, beautiful views of the Lakes, and a nice walk to Knot End, or out onto the sands.

Stopped here, a couple of campers and car sleepers, no trouble and no noise.

Had a lovely overnight stay, great walks with the dog and fab views. A couple of bins about to get rid of rubbish. As a solo female felt very safe and was a perfect first time out. Road is a bit bumpy and potholed but fine if you take your time.

Glad I picked this spot for our first night out in our first motorhome with the dog, very peaceful and relaxing, one other hymer and a little one man van overnighters, lovely sunset, will definitely return. stayed 10/09/2022

Quiet night park up in a remote setting with a couple of other vans and a car camper. A few passing cars during the night but nothing to worry about. Plenty of dog walkers early in the morning.

Polecam ten parking, jest trochę ukryty, ale to zapewnia spokojny sen. Jest dużo miejsca i kosz na śmieci.

Excellent location, quiet car park with bins. Ice Cream van visited yesterday. Tide goes out a long way, nice footpath on a bank along the coast. Some dog walkers.

We parked here last week. Great spot, no cockle pickers between 1st May and 30th August. Quiet night, dog walkers in morning. Two bins there so no excuse for littering. Great sunsets.

Great little spot. I would recommend parking furthest away from the slip way, not where the motorhome is in the photo. The cockle pickers use this area in the early hours. They did not disturb us. Lovely 1hr ish stroll along the beach footpath to Knott end. For £2 you could get the ferry across to Fleetwood for a proper day out :)

Incredible walks along the beach, can see across to Barrow. Nice and quiet at night, as said the fishermen come early but see off pretty quick, they’re back around 10ish to pack up and head off, planning a few days here :)

Nice spot to park, very quiet throughout the night. the only reason I've not given it 5 stars was because the cockle pickers roll up from 6:30 with trailers and quads etc. So if you like a lay-in you won't get one. They're quick to get going though and didn't hang around for long. I'd definitely stay again if in the area.

Just done a 4 night stay, right at the end of a country lane, plenty of space for multiple vehicles, nice and quiet. couple motorhomes and vans at night wasn't bothered by anyone. does get busy in the morning with fishermen and dog walkers but again wasn't bothered by anybody. if youre looking for a nice stop for the night be sure to check it out

Lovely quite place to stay, we stayed 3nights here last weekend except for the 6.30 am wake up call from the cockle pickers shutting their van doors it was a lovely place especially for dog walkers, would recommend.

Really nice place stayed here 11/9/21 nice walks from pitch and found the locals to be nice and friendly.will be back here.

Lovely spot with nice views right next to the marshes, good for birds too. Some quite windy and remote access roads to get there but we did fine in our Transit LWB. Incredibly quiet at night. Would definitely stay here again.

Great spot, quiet, beautiful view. Be careful with the tides if you walk out at low tide (you can walk out very far (>2km)).

Stayed here two nights on 29/04. Great spot, only van here for first night and about 3 on the second, quiet with no disturbance, bins available. Walked along the coastal path to knott on sea, loved it! Beautiful sunset spot.

Lovely place would stay again but got egged look out for a Volkswagen Golf gray in colour that the one egging people must be local. If this keeps happening

Yep... Lovely quiet place for the night. Carboot every Saturday and Sunday only 10 minutes away. I counted 11 campers last night but didn't hear any of them. Definitely will be staying here on my next trip to Blackpool.

First time visiting was very quiet and a lovely view would come again. Watched the sun set.

Beautiful spot, free, quiet and out the way. Can become busy in the morning and we had a visit from the local police however they were just doing the rounds. Recommended

There's some great wee country roads to get here. The spot itself is very peaceful, a few cars and birdlife were all I heard all night. Active spot for dog walkers who are happy to say hello in the morning and it's easy to see why. If you are arriving in the dark then be careful of the potholes.

Very quite, we spent a night with another van in October and was nice stay here

Levelled ground. By the see side so great views and walks. TV and 4G reception are good. No shops or toilets in the vicinity.

Ruhiger Stellplatz direkt am Meer, etwas windgeschützt durch eine Düne. Nachts war es abgesehen von zwei anderen Campern sehr ruhig. Abends und morgens sind viele Hundespaziergänger unterwegs, leider sieht der Dünenwanderweg auch so aus.

Great place to park up day or night. We are in a 7.5m motorhome, no problem at all getting down the road

Perfect spot for a night, 1 more camper here on the far side. I'm nestled perfectly next to the trees with a perfect view over the water.

Pas de vue direct à la mer car protégé par une digue en terre ferme autour, possibilité de faire une promenade sur la digue bien pour faire une pause

Pretty easy to find, enough spaces for 4-5 small motorhomes along the road. Very windy at night and lots of seagulls! there are farms nearby so from about 4.30am onwards there are quadbikes etc travelling up and down.

Endroit plat et très joli, peut-être bruyant au matin car c'est une plage assez fréquentée, mais calme la nuit
