A wonderful view but no overnight camping please. It is part of the national park. We were asked to move on by the ranger. There have been too many issues including fires and waste.
Quelques places au bord d'un petit ruisseau, juste à côté d'une route de campagne étroite et très calme. Accès et espace suffisants pour les fourgonnettes de petite et moyenne taille. En remontant le chemin qui longe le ruisseau, vous trouverez quelques places de stationnement. Un point de retournement facile se trouve un peu plus loin. Belle vue sur le réservoir. Endroit agréable pour une promenade. Idéal pour un pique-nique en journée.
A few spaces at the edge of a small stream just off a very quiet and narrow country road. Access and room for small to medium vans. If you drive up the track by the stream there are a few spots to park. There is an easy turning around point a little further up the track. Beautiful view of the reservoir. Lovey spot for a walk. Ideal for a daytime picnic.
Einige Stellplätze am Rande eines kleinen Baches, direkt an einer sehr ruhigen und schmalen Landstraße. Zufahrt und Platz für kleine bis mittelgroße Transporter. Wenn Sie den Weg am Bach entlang fahren, finden Sie einige Parkmöglichkeiten. Etwas weiter oben am Weg gibt es einen gut erreichbaren Wendepunkt. Schöne Aussicht auf den Stausee. Ein schöner Ort für einen Spaziergang. Ideal für ein Picknick am Tag.
Hay algunos espacios al borde de un pequeño arroyo, junto a una carretera rural estrecha y tranquila. Acceso y espacio para furgonetas pequeñas y medianas. Si subes por el sendero junto al arroyo, hay algunos sitios para aparcar. Un poco más adelante, hay un punto de giro fácil. Hermosa vista del embalse. Un lugar encantador para pasear. Ideal para un picnic diurno.

Daddyslittlelunchbox09/07/2025Beautiful views down over Burrator Reservoir few people hiking and biking till about 19:30 then no one till 07:00 dog walkers all very pleasant woke to Dartmoor pony’s around the van. stream right next to us bubbling away such a peaceful night. if you continue up the track there’s a few more spaces but not with views like this. big vans and motorhomes will struggle steep hills narrow tracks .

Sehr schöner Ort mit Aussicht und Bachgeplätscher zum Einschlafen. Einige Wanderer mit Hunden. Schöne Wanderungen von hier aus möglich. Bin 2 Nächte geblieben.

Please be aware that all overnight parking is banned in dartmoor national park, don't be surprised if a warden moves you on.

Nice views, but only suitable for smaller vehicles or vans. No disturbance in the night. Only a single dog walker and two cyclists in the morning. Please be aware that overnight parking is not allowed in other parking lots in the area, so keep this one tidy and clean!

Spot incroyable ! Vue à couper le souffle ! Nous nous sommes couchés avec les chevaux et levés avec les vaches. Bruit du ruisseau assez présent si vous dormez en toit relevable. Petit bémol, accès très étroit. Nous sommes passés de justesse avec un L3H3. Ne pas être soucieux de sa carrosserie. Belle balade à faire dans le coin, accès facile vers le bord du lac. Tellement paisible !
LesMimis111225/07/2023Magnifique. Attention à accéder depuis le Norsworthy Bridge Park parce que depuis l’autre côté c’est vraiment très (trop) étroit. Une fois sur place une vue à couper le souffle et juste le bruit de l’eau

Beautiful spot, worth the tight fit, but watch out if you are wider than 2.2m. A couple of low hanging branches but they were soft. Take your trash with you and don't camp here if you don't have a way to handle the waste from it or dig it down!

Beautiful spot to stay. Very quiet. Wild horses. The track is a quite bumpy with large rocks but easy to navigate if you go slow.

Wunderschöner Platz mit plätscherndem Bach direkt vor der Nase. Wir haben hier ohne Probleme in unserem kleinen Auto übernachtet. Morgens kommen einige Radfahrer/Dogwalker vorbei aber dennoch ist es sehr ruhig. Wenn man den Schotterweg weiter hinter fährt gibt es weitere Plätze, hier waren auch andere Camper über Nacht. Tolle Aussicht auf den See!

A l’entrée du parc national, il est noté que les feux et camping sont interdits. Nous sommes allés sur place, le lieu est bien la, atypique, tout ce qu’on aime mais déjà 5 voitures dont certaines personnes entrain de faire du feu… pour une chicha. Je ne dis pas bravo ! Nous poursuivons notre chemin
