A crackin little site two minutes walk over the dunes to the spectacular beach. Basic but clean and very chilled and quiet. Large pitches. I would definitely use it again.
Petit camping basique Sandy Acres, campeurs et petites camionnettes uniquement, heures d'entrée et de sortie très restreintes (portes de la route vers le site totalement verrouillées de 22h à 7h), pas d'EHU, toutes les douches ne sont pas ouvertes donc très sale, bel emplacement en haut de la falaise mais meilleurs sites autour pour le prix.
Small basic campsite Sandy Acres, campers and small vans only, very restricted entry and exit times (gates to road to site totally locked 10pm to 7am), no EHU, not all showers open so very dirty, nice location top of cliff but better sites around for price.
Kleiner einfacher Campingplatz Sandy Acres, nur Wohnmobile und kleine Vans, sehr eingeschränkte Ein- und Ausfahrtszeiten (Tore zur Straße zum Standort komplett gesperrt von 22 bis 7 Uhr), kein EHU, nicht alle Duschen geöffnet, schöne Lage oben auf einer Klippe.
Pequeño campamento básico de Sandy Acres, solo para autocaravanas y camionetas pequeñas, tiempos de entrada y salida muy restringidos (puertas de la carretera al sitio completamente cerradas de 10 p.m. a 7 a.m.), sin EHU, no todas las duchas abiertas, muy sucias, buena ubicación en lo alto de un acantilado pero mejores sitios alrededor por el precio
Piccolo campeggio Sandy Acres di base, solo camper e piccoli furgoni, orari di ingresso e uscita molto limitati (cancelli dalla strada al sito completamente chiusi dalle 22:00 alle 7:00), nessuna EHU, non tutte le docce sono aperte, quindi molto sporche, bella posizione in cima alla scogliera ma siti migliori intorno per il prezzo.
Kleine, eenvoudige Sandy Acres-camping, alleen campers en kleine busjes, zeer beperkte in- en uitrijtijden (poorten van weg naar camping volledig afgesloten van 22.00 uur - 07.00 uur), geen EHU, niet alle douches open dus erg vies, mooie locatie op een klif maar betere locaties in de buurt voor de prijs.

AngelaBreslin30/05/2025if I could give this place 10 stars I would. the best campsite I've stayed for a long time. its simple, relaxed, no fuss. the showers and toilets are modern and spotless. the location is beyond amazing. bunny rabbits hopping around and literally on the dunnes. it reminded me of summer bay if anyone ever watched home and away. I had full Internet too.
go101030/05/2025Standen hier für eine Nacht. Einfach durch Schranke fahren (öffnet automatisch) und Platz innerhalb 15 min aussuchen. An Empfang sind die freien Plätze aufgelistet. Dann per sms anmelden. Top! Einzige Einschränkung, man muss am nächsten Tag um 10 die Schranke passiert haben.
sleeni09/09/2024Einfach wow! Mega schöner Platz mitten in den Dünen mit tollen Facilities. Ca. 500m zu Fuß ist ein riesiger Strand, an dem auch Kitesurfen erlaubt ist! Man muss hier autark stehen. Am Parkplatz zum Strand ist ein Café. Zur Zufahrt zum Platz einfach durch die Schranke durchfahren, euer Kennzeichen wird am Campingplatz aufgenommen. Haben für 2 Pers. und 1 Hund 28,50£ bezahlt. Wirklich ein Geheimtipp, grandiose Aussicht von den Dünen aus!
KaMa758121/07/2024Super schöner Platz in perfekter Lage! Klein und unkompliziert, haben uns hier super wohl gefühlt... kommen definitiv wieder, zumal der Strand der schönste ist, den wir bisher in England gesehen haben... Die Toiletten und Duschen sind top, modern und sauber!

Mit 30 Pfund pro Nacht ohne Strom sicherlich nicht der günstigste Campingplatz, aber dafür sehr schön gelegen zum surfen. Die vorhandenen Facilities sind völlig in Ordnung und sauber.

Schöner Campingplatz! Direkt am Meer, toll zum Surfen. Evtl in der Hauptsaison vor der Anreise anrufen. Alles sauber und gepflegt. 30£ in Ordnung!
Hii...18/06/2023Sehr schön gelegener Platz in den Dünen. Kein Strom. Einfache aber saubere Sanitäranlagen. In unmittelbarer Nähe zum langen Sandstrand. Großer Stellplatz 35,00£.

To be fair if you accept the fact that it is on the tad expensive side (£25 for small,£30 for standard pitch) and that the only facilities are washing sinks, showers, toilets and wetsuit washing, then it’s not all that bad, especially as the beach is a 5 minute walk away. It’s a great place if you’re wanting to have a convenient walk down to the beach for kitesurfing, surfing, windsurfing.

OK small site but too expensive for unclean showers, had to queue as they had some locked and only 2 cubicles open, very restricted vehicle entry (I had to attend an emergency and got locked out in the road all night). Other social media shows people having a lot of trouble even for the day car park. Would avoid, much better ones just up the road at Gwithian or nearer town towards Hayle.
