The road is quite close but does get more quiet later on. Loads of dog walks and 2 bins. Didn't see litter as another person mentioned, but it has been pinned on the wrong side of the road in maps.

Stayed here last night, got here at about 2000 and there were no other people parked. You can hear the road but it was quiet overnight and started to get busy again at about 0630 but didn't bother us. Popular with dog walkers/runners and carpark started to get busy at about 0730, so please park respectfully. Good spot for an overnight.

Please beware Good old Google will say it's on your right, it's on your left into trees,so I presume it say on your left other direction. Nice little stop off spot.

Schöner Platz mit genug Platz für mehrere Camper. Es gibt einen Mülleimer. Der Platz liegt nahe bei einer Straße man hört die Autos, zwischen dem Parkplatz und der Straße sind ein paar Meter und Bãume. Uns hat es nicht gestõrt.

gorgeous setting. quiet when you need it to be. perfect for walkers and people with dogs. very tidy and well looked after. as per previous comments, I struggled with signal but not a major issue.

Sehr schöner asphaltierter Rundplatz. Direkt am Wald mit vielen Wanderwegen. Aufgrund der Nähe zur Straße nicht ruhig. Dennoch empfehlenswert für eine Nacht

Great spot to park overnight. Large parking, many spaces. Green area around, some distance from main road - quiet and safe.

Für eine Nacht völlig ausreichend. Standen zu dritt mit großem Abstand. Es kommen bis in den späten Abend laufend Autos mit Hundebesitzern. Scheinbar eine beliebte Gegend zum Gassi gehen. Wen Straßenlärm stört, ist hier fehl am Platze. Sehr sauber, Mülleimer vorhanden.

Nice quiet spot after about 10pm. Road noice up till then and walkers and cyclist using the site most of the evening. Still a really nice spot. Nice and level. Had a really good nights sleep and felt very safe. Will definitely use again.

Great spot for onward visit to Edinburgh or Stirling. Forest walks. Road noise quiet over night. Solo in the car park, but felt very safe. Signal on and off 4G on O2. No services, so please respect the area. Full services available In Edinburgh at the Portobello site.

Mooie parkeerplaats. Groot genoeg voor motorhomes (7,5 mtr). Wel lawaai van de auto’s van naastliggende weg, echter rustig tussen 22:00-06.00.

Mal ambiente. Nos tuvimos que ir porque no paraban de llegar e irse coches a las 11 de la noche.

Au calme à l’entrée d’une belle balade en forêt

Flat area, ample parking space. Head of a couple nice little trails in the forest. Only issue is the noise from the main road, quiet at night but starts again early in the morning. Safe and nice spot.
