Family owned ‘nearly wild’ campsite. Several large fields near the sea. Good prices and lovely people. They serve BBQ at the weekends. Toilets are well maintained long drops.

Campeggio per famiglie "quasi selvaggio". Diversi grandi campi vicino al mare Buoni prezzi e persone adorabili. Servono barbecue nei fine settimana. I servizi igienici sono ben mantenuti a gocce lunghe.
"Bijna wilde" familiecamping. Diverse grote velden aan zee Goede prijzen en lieve mensen. Ze serveren BBQ in het weekend. De toiletten zijn goed onderhouden lange drops.

Great site, extremely reasonable price (October) with an even better view - I read other comments, & yes it is a row of portaloos & you have to pay for a shower - No issue for me - I did not see any of the rubbish mentioned below - The site is primarily a horse stables & fields that are being adapted to a camp site - I loved it - Didn't take long to get my van level & watching the horses was cool
Meerblick top. Wiese holprig, aber okay. Die Dixie Klos waren während unseres Aufenthalts in einem unzumutbaren Zustand. Die Campinganlage insgesamt wirkte wie ein Wertstoffhof. Alte Möbel, Schrott und ausgediente Toilettenhäuschen aus vergangenen Zeiten. Wir machen immer gern Naturcamping ohne Strom und anderen Luxus, aber hier war definitiv zu viel, was nicht in die Natur gehört. Schade.
ein sehr schöner Platz mitten in der Natur gelegen, mit schöner Sicht. wer Natur mag wird den Platz lieben. ja es ist kein klassischer Campingplatz wer viel Wert auf Sanitäreinrichtungen legt wird hier nicht fündig. die Dixies sind jedoch mit spülung und wirklich einen zweiten Blick wert sehr sauber obendrein. einen Punkt Abzug gibt es da die Dusche extra kostet, das wäre nicht nötig.
Leider kein schöner Ort. Mehr eine Sandwüste mit Dixies als ein Campingplatz, der zudem zwischen Industriegebiet und Baustelle gelegen ist. Immerhin schöner Ausblick, wenn man in der ersten Reihe steht. Für eine Nacht ok, aber dafür auch recht teuer.
Lovely campsite - I will stay here again next time I’m in Portland! However, for the price, I think the showers should be free or be 5 minutes not 3 minutes
They are clearly putting a lot of work in to make this place a haven for campers. We spent our first evening in the sauna which was amazing, the owner has spent the whole winter creating a really beautiful and peaceful wellness area. They have a cafe open in the day which does coffees and breakfast baps. friendly staff. The fields are nice and level and great for camping with views of the sea.
Hab wieder umgedreht. Erstens war keiner da und es sieht aus wie auf nem versauten Bauernhof mit nem angrenzenden Schrottplatz. Mag kein Luxuscamping, aber das ist zu viel Geld für Camping.
Camping à la ferme, très belle vue sur le phare et les chevaux, très calme et bucolique. 45£ la nuit pour 2 adultes et un enfant dans un van, nous y sommes allés sans réservation, aucun problème en août. Douches et toilettes à disposition, les douches avec eau chaude sont payantes 1£ pour 3 minutes. Possibilité de faire le plein d’eau, mais pas possible de vider des toilettes chimiques.
Absolutely best wild camping side ever!! I visited this place in my converted van and my two children + 2 families. We went horse riding at the cliffs for £30 per person for one hour and enjoyed the beach. We will be back, 1000%!!!!
Wenn man denkt, dass nichts mehr kommt… dann kommt diese Farm in Portland. Ganz entspannt, nette Betreiber, alles was man sich wünscht ist da. Der Himmel ist weit und das Glück hier groß.
Booked a single night here by chance when visiting Portland, liked it so much we extended our stay. Great views out to sea, fantastic showers but get some tokens, well placed for exploring the area on foot or bike as we did.
amazing,homely, welcoming campsite run by caring people. week before we stayed here it rained heavy and they ensured the ground was filled for the busy 4 day bank holiday. best part is the animals roaming the site in a controlled manor. piggies are my fav.
Brilliant farm/camp site. £34 a night brilliant views of the English Channel and can have a fire as long as it’s off the ground. Amazing food stall selling coffee beer and food. Farmer also offers kindling wood and logs £5 a bag.
I wanted somewhere quite near the sea, and Sweet Hill Farm does not disappoint. Showers and toilets are available, though I did not need to use these! On entering you will find a cafe with nice friendly staff, as you make your way around you will come to the shower block, where there is staples if you need to fill up onboard fresh water tanks. The views are stunning, I shall be returning regularly
We wanted to get away to the coast for a night for my birthday, wanted to get away from it all with a sea view. We found this little gem with beautiful views right near Portland Bill lighthouse. Friendly campsite owner. there are basic toilets, sinks and water tap etc, it's on an equestrian centre so lots of horses and other animals. lovely coastal walk to the lighthouse. well worth a visit.
Good site with great views but a bit over priced at £30 for 2 adults and a campervan. Great showers but have to pay extra for them. Electric available at £5. Better value elsewhere on the island.
Süßer, alternativer Campingplatz mit vielen Tieren, riesiger Wiese (auf der man parken kann, wo man möchte). Einfache Duschen und Toiletten. Man kann hier wunderbar spazieren gehen und die Gegend erkunden. Alles in allem: man hat alles, was man braucht. Wir waren hier für eine Nacht und haben es sehr genossen.
‘Ruige’ camping met beetje festivalgevoel bovenop een klif met vuurtoren. Fantastische douches, milieubewuste toiletten en foodtruck als receptie. Aanrader!
Ja, ein einfacher Platz, Camp & Wave, manchmal sehr große Gruppen. Empfang sehr nett, neue Duschen für 1,5 GBP, Frischwasser kostenlos. Wahrscheinlich immer sehr windig, für ein oder zwei Nächte sehr gut geeignet, für länger etwas zu weit ab vom Schuss.

Ich mag auch keine Luxusplätze (siehe unten). Aber wenn ich für eine holperige Wiese mit Plumpsko und Wasserhahn für 2 Personen 30£ bezahlen soll macht mich das nicht wirklich glücklich.
Ruhiger am Wasser gelegener Platz. Sehr einfach gehaltener Campingplatz. Wer Luxus oder Ähnliches sucht wird hier nicht glücklich! Uns gefällt es sehr gut! Einfahrt ist 24/7 geöffnet, reinfahren und irgendwann trifft man wen zum bezahlen
Wer ohne Elektrizität und Chem-Entleerung auskommt, bekommt hier einen super Stellplatz mit grandiosem Ausblick und herrlichen Spaziergängen oder MTB trail.

Found this place just by chance. Very friendly & helpful staff if you just a field to stay in. No electric but had everything else including eco friendly toilets. They had a band on & fresh hot paella. £10 pp & £5 for furry friend. Great views & nice walk to Portland Bill. Bins were on your way out.

Angrenzender Fußweg zum Küstenwanderweg. Portland Bill fußläufig gut zu erreichen. Wir waren mit 3 Pers. CamperVan und 4 Hunden da. TOP 5☆
Bisher schlechteste Erfahrung in ganz Südengland. Wilde Pferdewiese, lange staubige Zufahrt. Einfahrt sehr eng < 2,20 m. Keinerlei Service. Kein Strom, keine Toiletten, keine Duschen, keine Abfalleimer, kein Frischwasser, keine Entsorgung. Unfreundlicher Empfang. Preis 10 pppn unverschämt. Spezielles Publikum, lärmt die ganze Nacht. Wir kommen nie wieder.
