Situated in the heart of Caithness, Morvenview is a small and simple caravan and motorhome/campervan site. Perfect place to stay to enjoy the tranquility of open spaces and the big sky. From the site you can see the Orkney Islands, Dunnet Head and also the wonderful sunsets. There is very little light pollution making it perfect for viewing the Northern Lights in the winter months. Huge dog walking area available all year round.

Stayed 1 night in Feb and it was okay. Complete clean facilities albeit unheated, toilet & shower basic in set-up. Even low season £25 + £5 for EHU. Pitches not level so use ramps. Access road is in bad state, site (5 pitches only) is exposed. In return lots of quiet + superb views. Hostess was very friendly. Good enough for one-night stay, although not enough value for money imho.

What a place!!! I just pitched up late afternoon (already end of December dark) and asked for a space. Fortunately they were quiet (5 spaces?) so was advised to choose. I was then shown around the facilities - EHU, all waste disposal, fresh water, huge paddock dog run area and left to my own devices. Great place, highly recommend.

Visited this weekend. Beautiful setting, quiet, peaceful and very helpful hosts. Nothing too much to ask. Very knowledgeable about local area. Shower/toilet facilities spotless, washing machine and dryer available for small fee. Also offer a service stop option. Excellent fenced dog run area which our dog loved. Will definitely be making a return visit.
What a beautiful, serene place. You want peace and quiet, then this is the place. Fantastic for the boss too ( the pup ) really friendly owner, nice clean shower/toilet block. There's also a bonus of a doggie walking field with multiple paths in, Asher had a field day in there

Super fijne plek. Sanitair dik in orde. De hondenuitlaatplaats is super top! Groot weiland met graspaadjes waar je hond veilig los kan lopen omdat het helemaal omheind is.

Modern facilities. Well kept grounds. Typical Caithness big sky view. Very quiet, no road noise possible just the sound of the wind and birds.

Petit camping simple et perdu dans la nature. Propriétaire très sympa, sanitaires très propres. Machine et laver et sèche linge (5livres chacun). Pas un bruit et très reposant, nous étions les seuls. Et concernant les commentaires précédents au sujet de l’absence de vue… pas d’accord … les étoiles ici sont à couper le souffle.
Bezahlung nur in Cash, Banküberweisung oder Paypal. Keine Kartenzahlung vor Ort. Ansonsten schließen wir uns den positiven Kommentaren an.
Sehr schöner Stellplatz. Der Preis ist für schottische Verhältnisse absolut okay. Alles sehr schön angelegt, gepflegt und sauber. Über die Waschmaschine habe ich mich sehr gefreut. Endlich eine saubere Waschmaschine, die auf 60 Grad die Wäsche wäscht, wie zu Hause. Kleiner Aufenthaltsbereich, wo wir mit Freunden einen tollen Spieleabend haben konnten.
Een aanrader als je eens heel rustig wil staan. Alles wat men nodig heeft voor een camper is aanwezig. Hele vriendelijke uitbaters. Van hieruit is het niet ver om de veerboot te nemen in Scrabster naar de Orkneyeilanden.
Zeer vriendelijk ontvangen. Mooie ruime plekken, prima sanitair. Er wordt echt zorg besteed aan de aankleding. Wij betaalden £25,00 voor een overnachting zonder stroom. We hebben hier een prima, rustige nacht gehad. Een fantastische plek voor mensen die net even weg willen van de drukte. Zeker een aanrader!

We just used the services (empty grey/black water for £5 £5 shower 2 adults). Warm welcome from the owners, very friendly and helpful. They have a lovely place. Clean toilet and shower. You can also do laundry for £5 per load and £5 per load for the dryer. We wanted to spend the night there but we were tight with our schedule.
We didn't stay here but just used the services to empty grey/black water and get fresh water which cost £5. The couple who run the sight were really friendly and helpful. The campsite is in a lovely position with great views.
Lovely site with great views. Worth the 15 minute detour off the NC500 just for the great views. Shower and toilet modern and clean. There is also a little kitchen area for backpackers which has a washer and dryer available. Even a book share shelf if you need a new book. New managers were friendly and helpful.
Accueil chaleureux, camping bien situé, sanitaires très propres. Nous avons apprécié faire une halte ici !

Camping en medio del campo, ideal para descansar. Parcelas muy grandes con gravilla y muy niveladas. Con luz, agua y vaciado de negras. Ducha y baño bastante limpios. Ni un solo ruido por la noche. Tiene una piedra ancestral detrás. Son super Dog friendly. Browdy, su perro, es buenísimo y sociable con otros perros. Ian y Helen, son majísimos. recomendaciones de que hacer, donde comprar, etc
Ian and Helen have just taken over this former CL. They are very friendly and helpful. The site is in an elevated rural location so can be windy (It is Scotland) but the views are worth it. Super quiet just the birds.
