A wonderful location. We slept peacefully and safely. Old Hasankeyf is very close. You can go by car and rest here. If you have a dog, be careful as there are shepherd dogs around. They are not aggressive.
Dreamspot le long du magnifique chemin vers le site archéologique de Hasankeyf. Superbe vue sur les maisons troglodytes et les falaises abruptes de la rive sud et le nouveau Hasankeyf sur la rive nord. Spot de coucher de soleil parfait aussi. Peut-être un peu de vent parfois car c'est un endroit assez exposé.
Dreamspot along the beautiful way to Hasankeyf Archeological Site. Great view on the Cavehouses and the steep cliffs on the southern shore and new Hasankeyf on the northern shore. Perfect sunset spot as well. Might be a bit windy sometimes as it is a pretty exposed place.
Dreamspot auf dem schönen Weg zur archäologischen Stätte Hasankeyf. Toller Blick auf die Cavehouses und die steilen Klippen am Südufer und New Hasankeyf am Nordufer. Perfekter Ort für den Sonnenuntergang. Könnte manchmal etwas windig sein, da es ein ziemlich exponierter Ort ist.
Dreamspot a lo largo del hermoso camino hacia el sitio arqueológico de Hasankeyf. Gran vista de las casas cueva y los acantilados en la orilla sur y el nuevo Hasankeyf en la orilla norte. Lugar perfecto para la puesta de sol también. Tal vez un poco de viento a veces, ya que es un lugar bastante expuesto.

BucoPeppino14/11/2023Wirklich ein Traumspot, wenn man ein wenig Ruhe und die Natur geniessen will. Kann tolle Spaziergänge machen und die Gegend erkunden. Es hat einen riesen, kuschelbedürftigen Hund, der sehr lieb ist. Viele Hirten, die mit den Kühen und Schafen vorbeiziehen. Am Wochenende einige Locals, die Fischen und Grillen. Alle extrem freundlich und plauderlustig. Der einzige Nachteil: extrem viele Fliegen!

nice spot, very quiet. we had not planned to stop in this area but we ended up spending one entire day around, there's a lot to explore, gorgeous place!

Very good spot but no shade at all and quite windy (luckily it helps to kill the heat) during the day ! Possible to swim on the lake if you are not afraid of the small fishes coming to eat dead skin on your legs ! ;)

Perfect spot for night stop. Very quiet. Not many level areas to park. Great for sunset. A couple of strays keep guard of the van but not a bother as we have a dog too.
romanianfrenchies29/12/2022Magnifique spot au bord du Tigre. Quelques voitures la journée passent (bergers ou visiteurs). Il y a des habitats troglodytes un peu plus loin et nous avons marché 1h jusqu’au site archéologique d’Hasankeyf. Parfait!

A good overnight stop off with views of Hasan Keyf. Open space near the water. Alright for a night .
