Great spot with free parking for 72hrs. Toilets just down road open during the day and bins that are emptied regularly. Bit tight getting in as large boulders on entrance but we are 8m tag and got in no issue

Very van friendly… was about 30 of us stopped Saturday night. Lovely views felt very safe. 10 min walk to local pubs/shops

Great park up. 72 hours max stay. Had 2 nights here. 7 mile round walk to portland Bill Lighthouse with amazing cliff top views. Folk are friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely spot, free parking and we stopped for the day. Signs say no overnight parking so moved on but there were other vans stayed for the night.

Amazing views, 3 parking areas with loads of space, entrance is limited to little wider than a standard Merc Sprinter, wouldn’t want to try a coach built Motorhome.

We stayed in the middle car park along this road. Free of charge and no 'no overnight' signs. It was a great place to stop and there were many other vans parked overnight (if not longer). We parked along the far side where they have stone blocks between each space, so there was plenty of room between vans. Would definitely go back again, though I should imagine it gets full quickly in summer.

Mooie rustige plek waar meerdere vans verbleven. De openbare toiletten zijn nu gesloten. Mooi uitzicht over Portland.

Toller Stellplatz, viel Platz, viele Camper, super Aussicht, sehr ruhig und toll als Ausgangspunkt für diverse Ausflüge.

Sign says campervans and motorhome parking for a maximum 12 hours.

Sadly, a new sign went up this week 6/7/22. Parking is still free during the day, but parking here is only allowed between 6am-9pm. This applies to all vehicles. NO OVERNIGHT PARKING.

Great spot and handy with toilets. All 3 spots up the road were free when we stayed. We’ve been told mixed reports of £10 only applies in summer v a local that previously just started charging people on a whim. We stayed a few nights.

Free for the night, parked on the grass for a cracking sunset. 1 dude who owns the area did mention he doesn't usually let people park on the grass but he was pretty chilled. he also mentioned he will be charging £10 soon so enjoy it whilst it's free. toilets just a wee walk down the road. No pun intended ;)

Great spot! we had a nice night's sleep here and there were plenty of other campers here at the same time, but it didn't feel overcrowded as the car parks are more than big enough for many of us

Just brilliant spots (3 of them ) , excellent views and sunset . Quiet night , lots of other Motorhomes , if you’ve no toilet best park at the first of the 3 parking areas for convince as the free toilet is located opposite .

Stayed here for one night on 12th April, this has to be one of my most favourite parkups. There were 7 other vans but the car park was large enough to accommodate us all. Spectacular view of Portland below. It was so quiet, had an amazing sleep. Well done and thank you to the local council for allowing us all to stay for free in such a beautiful spot.

Guter Platz zum übernachten! Wir haben ruhig geschlafen. Steht auch kein Schild was das übernachten verbietet. Öffentliche Toiletten sind nicht weit entfernt, zwar keine ver oder entsorgung aber dafür frei was in England selten ist und Sicher weil hier immer womos oder campervans stehen. Toller Platz zum Wandern gehen.

Wir haben hier mit 5 anderen Fz. eine ruhige Nacht verbracht. Tolle Aussicht und Wandermöglichkeiten.

excellent view..if clouds allow. free to park. toilets near by and a café too.very high up ..long walk and very steep to Chesil beach if you are looking for exercise. a few other vans here.we loved it.

Fantastic spot amazing views & walks around historic portland stone quarries, bus into Weymouth. Please leave only tyre tracks & foot prints currently all free lets keep it that way!!

Great spot with nice views. Safety in numbers as quite a few vans on a Friday night. Even had the pop top up and front screen cover on as felt safe enough to not need any stealth. Peaceful and undisturbed night.

Amazing space with good view and felt undisturbed as many vans. On our first night we had a great night and went for a drink in the heights bar and used the free toilets. However, with high winds the second night we struggled to sleep due to the exposed position our van rocked and was very loud.
