Prima Platz. Sonntags bis 10 Uhr kostenfrei. 5 Minuten ins Zentrum: Toiletten (ab 9 Uhr) direkt hinter „The Curry Leaf Restaurant“ und Café/Croissants in Gregg‘s am Marktplatz täglich ab 6 Uhr.

Great little carpark right by the canal, arrived in the evening and parked overnight, we’re 7.5m, managed to park in a space overhanging the grass getting all four wheels in the bay, very quiet, free overnight, paid in the morning and sat out on the benches behind our space looking at canal, then went for a lovely walk down the canal to a Caen Hill cafe overlooking the locks, beautiful views.

Arrived about 10pm, very quiet, other campers there. Next to police station. Stayed free till 8am then paid £3 for 4 hours so went for breakfast (brogans cafe is a must). Very convenient and no gates!

Staying here for bank holiday. Great little spot right by the canal. Water is available. Plenty of space for any size motorhome. We are 7.5 mtrs and just put the overhang on the grass. No disturbances during the night. Only 3 other vans here.

Be warned the parking warden was out and about at 8 am looking for offenders. We have a 7.5 M bessacarr and had to put the rear wheels up on the kerb to fit in the parking bay which coincidentally levelled us up for the night. It was very quiet and safe and we had an undistubed nights sleep until 7.30am when the joggers turned up slaming their car doors. We stayed on a Friday night in December.

Nice spot, next to the Kennet and Avon Canal. Free parking from 6pm till 8am. Some noise/activity in the evening, then fairly quiet until 7am when the joggers and dog walkers arrive! Easy walk into town with lots of pubs and restaurants. No facilities on site. Stayed Sept. 2023

Excellent little overnight spot, you're overlooking the canal, next 2 the museum and the main town centre. Spaces are only standard size but with wide grass verges behind so you can still get in fine if you have a long overhang. No toilets at the car park, nearest public toilets are 4 mins walk & only open 9am - 4.30pm but spotlessly clean & attended. Sainsbury's about a 5 minute walk. Very Safe

Great overnight stop Sat 12th August. 4 other vans staying and very quiet. Sunday parking fee £1 all day, so we walked all the way down Caen Hill and back up again. Lots eating places open on Saturday evening. We will use this car park again.

we arrived just after 6 pm. Some canal fold we're having a jolly time by the water. They weren't at all noisy after 10 pm. There were Also a few working van lifters. We left before 8 am as we were worried that our van was too long to fit in one space. Nice and quiet in the night.

Great place for 1 or 2 nights. M-Sa £0.90/hr £7.70 all day 8am-6pm. Free 6pm-8am £1 on Sun. Pay using MiPermit app. Lots of spaces to overhang some sloping a bit. Felt safe police stn next to entrance. Very quiet Sat night. Great for exploring Devizes or walking up on to Roundway. Boaters elsan open all the time we were there. Couple of campervans stopped also.

Free from 6pm until 8am and it has an elsan to the right of the theatre tucked right in by the bridge. Wish more councils would allow parking like this in a safe place.

Perfect spot for exploring Devizes .lovely walk along the canal. £7.70 for all day & free from 6pm-8am. 7m motor home fitted in one space, overhang possible in lots of spaces.

Great car park. right on canal 3 min walk to town. lots of friendly boat folk & van people. whalf car park. next to the hand car wash. 3 min walk to toilets, to the rear of M&S food court 20p to use them. Sainsbury's also have toilets. lots of pubs serving great food. Wiltshire council thank you ?. Toilet would be handy here though...

I am here now. great car park, free from 6pm until 8am and daily charges are fair. quiet, safe, right by the canal and just a few minutes walk to the town centre. the marked bays are not motorhome sized but two edges of this car park are backed by set back shrubs so one can reverse rear overhang fully into a bay (without crushing any plants) but not good for large motorhomes, my camper is 5.5m.

Nice quiet canal side stop over close to town centre. Devizes is a lovely town and well worth a visit. Parking machine only takes coins.

Nice that by canal but felt a bit small a car park given at 6m I would take up two bays or overhang bay. I drove to Station Road Car Park instead as bigger car park and had lovely quiet night. Even during day other car park had hardly any cars in it so didn’t feel guilty taking up extra space.Either car park though deserves congratulations to Wiltshire Coucil

Quiet night in lovely town, nice walk down Caen Locks and a pint in the Wadworth Brewery Tap. Also visited a couple of other pubs and the excellent butchers shop. Grateful to Wiltshire Council - thankyou.
