Gairloch Harbor car park. Lots of space taken up by boats but still quiet and plenty of room. No service/4g on EE. 20 mins walk to village so better spots if you are there for a day visit.

Parkplatz Gairloch Harbour.

we stopped here went to pay on sign it tells you that you can only say in designated bay which is painted on the ground there was only one in June 2024

  • 4/5

Very busy when we arrived - got the last space. Lots of movement in the area too as it’s a working harbour. Toilets are nearby but maybe 5 minutes walk down the road. Showers a few minutes drive away by the beach. Ate at the inn across the road and enjoyed food but service was not great. Very mediocre but got the job done!

  • 4/5

Good place to stop. There is a shop, plus public loos and toilet emptying facilities about 100m away. All of 50m off the NC500 and quiet.

  • 5/5

Great stopover. Toilet, tap and Elsan down the road. Local shop and pub

  • 4/5

Rustige nacht gehad.

  • 5/5

£10 to park. Nice and quiet, a few other vans in. Walking distance (1km) to huge sandy beach and close to shops etc at Gairloch Harbour. Great for a stopover on the NC500.

  • 4/5

Very cute, sheltered little car park by the harbour. Two charging stations, bins and 2 min drive up the road were toilets (50p, showers £3.50) suggested donation - £10. Arrived around 8pm and parked up no issue with about 8 other campervans

  • 5/5

Surprisingly quiet nights sleep given the proximity to the road. Car parking sign creates a little confusion by stating overnight stay in marked bays - there is only one marked bay? There are brand new toilets and shower (£3.50) with disposal points at Gairloch golf course - excellent!! Would stay here again

  • 4/5

Overnight spot blocked by a parked boat but we stayed with 3 other vans no issue quiet lovely loch view £10 for 24 hours great parking to access boat trips from the harbour.

  • 5/5

Stayed the night 21/9/24. Lovely location, 9 vans parked up. Payment machine n/w. Lovely 1km walk to Gairloch beach. Harbour is very well maintained & looks pretty with seats & floral planters. Toilets very clean as was the service area. Lovely sunset, but would be better watching it from up the beach path. We had a great sleep with no disturbances at all. Would definitely stay here again.

  • 5/5

Great location, peaceful night. Popular with other vans. Ticket machine not working so unable to pay. Pub very close. Bins available.

  • 4/5

Just popped in to use waste disposal a few yards up the road , looked good, didn't stay for long

  • 5/5

  • 4/5

Level and plenty of room. £10 is a suggested donation - not obligatory. Close to lovely harbour with post office shop/cafe and picnic area. Very quiet night.

  • 5/5

Stayed overnight may 24 very quiet spot around 10 vans and motorhomes stayed. Not sure how many made the suggestion payment. I did and it was worth the £10. As others have said contribute to these schemes and they will remain. I used the shop the pub and post office whilst here. Didn’t need to empty wastes as I’m paying for local campsite tommorow which has all facilities. Sat in the little garden

  • 4/5

£10 fee for easy park-up by loch. Sweet community garden opposite for dinner! Post office with simple selection of food. Freezer with fresh caught and frozen langoustine and squat lobsters. Water tap in garden but wasn’t working at time of visit 4/24.

  • 5/5

This is a super place. Moho services are available, theres a post office, local shop offering fresh produce, a local cafe serving a full day menu, the Old Inn is just across the rd, you can hire kayaks, go whale watching, and sometimes get freshly caught seafood if you get chatting to the locals. This is a bit of an unknown gem. What’s also great is you can easily walk to the village and the beach.

  • 5/5

Stayed here for 1 night there is a new toilet block next to the golf club, with toilets shower, Elsan point will have to pay with your phone no cash accepted but beautiful and really cheap also fresh water and grey waste emptied

  • 5/5

The photograph is out of date, 24 hour motorhome parking is permitted. Also, the £10 fee is a suggested donation despite the official looking signs and payment machine.

  • 5/5

Quiet place, paid £10 for the night. Public toilets are down the street (2 minute walk).

  • 5/5

Excellent stopover. Sheltered parking beside boat yard, 24hr toilets, little shop, cafe in summer, pub across road serves great food. Walk to the waterfall is fantastic - you can extend walk by starting over the headland: beside cafe is a finger sign saying ‘to the beach’, follow this to the golf club, then cross road between church and war graves and follow through glen and pick up main trail.

  • 4/5

vidange cassettes et toilettes à 100m, Gairloch harbour office

  • 5/5

Nice spot to stand properly, close to the harbour of Gairloch. Great if you are going on whale trip. There are public toilets open 5 minute walk from the spot. It was £5 for 24 hours.

  • 4/5

Decent place for a stopover, good shop a short walk away. Check yourself and your dog thoroughly for ticks!

  • 5/5

Excellent spot for the night. £10 overnight and access to water and waste disposal along the end of the harbour next to toilets which are open 24/7. Views are amazing and there's lovely seating areas along waterfront. Fantastic spot to paddle from as directly opposite slipway.

  • 5/5

Tarmac car park immediate right on entry to harbour, payed £10 for 24hr parking using the parking machine (includes overnight stay) small spar shop 2 mins walk and 24hr toilets - toilet waste available too for a donation

  • 5/5

Great spot, close to the pub/food. 5 mins walk to toilet. chemical toilet disposal and water available. can get a key for the showers from the post office for a small fee. lovely gardens along yhe harbour to sit and waste the evening

  • 5/5

Great car park set up for motorhomes and contained campervans. £10 for the night. Not quite flat. Beautiful seating area on rivers edge across the road. We took walk over hilltop beach, bavk along road, then headed to The Old Inn pub. Food OK. Was very busy. Felt safe, and had a very quiet night here.

  • 5/5

Best overnight stay yet. £10 night payable in parking meter. Pub (The Old Inn) over the road but was closed when we stayed. And facilities for filling up water and emptying toilet cassette for a donation. Would definitely stay again if we lived nearer. One not to be missed.

  • 5/5

Perfect for motorhomes looking to stay in Gairloch for the night, please us this site for overnight stays and keep other car parks clear for day visitors. toilets and waste disposal just down by the pier thanks

  • 5/5

Fantastic little carpark. £10 for 24hrs, allows overnight stop. Superb views of the harbour, lovely little seating area 30 seconds away where we watched Sea Otters playing last night 20/6/22. Pub over the road, staff couldn't be more hospitable, the kitchen had closed but they still offered us food! Chemical disposal for a donation, toilets & shop a few hundred yards away

  • 5/5

Stayed 1/5/22 lovely spot with pay & display for overnight, toilets not far, shop on pier is friendly with seating across the way which is kept beautifully by residents. Nice little harbour for boat trips, walk past shop up and over to beach. Pub across the Rd which does good food, and a waterfall walk 1.5 hr but told not that good, saw the northern lights there, so glad we stopped, great spot

  • 5/5

overnight allowed off season, great sheltered spot when the wind is bad. toilets a few mins walk away and were open on winter.

  • 5/5

Overnight parking allowed off-season. Quiet car park, one other camper stayed the night. Toilets and waste disposal at other end of street well lit and clean

  • 5/5

    Supers services, donation libre. Merci.

  • 5/5

Fantastic facility, wish there was more of these around - would stop stories of people dumping waste into lochs! We dropped our waste and toilets were there too! Totally recommend! Please remember to leave a donation, the more money these things have, the more common they become!
