We hadden alleen een plek nodig om te overnachten. We gebruikten geen elektriciteit en de toiletten waren zo ver weg dat we onze eigen toilet maar gebruikt hebben. Douche zag er niet heel erg aanlokkelijk uit, dus niet gebruikt. £30 voor alleen een parkeerplaats is dan wel erg veel geld. Voordeel: er was wel wifi op de staanplaats.
Great campsite with lovely views, only downside is that the toilets aren’t very good. No toilet seats, no plugs in wash basins, paper towel dispensers empty and shower was 40p and grotty. Considering your paying £30 a night, they could be better
Campsite behind the pub. Good size pitches and in a lovely little village! The facilities were ok, although there was only one shower in the bathroom and it was separated by a shower curtain rather than a door, there wasn’t a light where the shower was either so it was a little dark showering! The shower was included in the price. We didn’t eat in the pub however it was busy and had a lovely vibe in there! £30 for 2 adults in a van with electricity. 20 minutes from Buttermere. Overall a nice little site!!
Superruhiger Platz, viel Raum und sehr gepflegt. Toilette/Nassbereich reicht zwar, aaaaaber sowas will man heutzutage eigentlich niemanden mehr zumuten, jedenfalls nicht für 30£. Essen im Pub war zwar relativ günstig aber bestenfalls durchschnittlich gut.
Very friendly and easy-going place to stay, only £18.50 for a sole traveller with a van. The Wheatsheaf is a nice pub, great food and a wide range of beers. Staff are really nice too. Almost marked this down by one star due to the shower/loos, most residents were in their static caravans, I had them to myself. I agree they might be inadequate during the busy period. However, were ok for me.
Sehr nett und unkompliziert. Günstiger Platz mit nettem Pub. Auch an diesem Samstag noch Plätze frei. Am Wochenende einen freien Stellplatz ohne Reservierung zu finden war gar nicht so einfach...
I stayed for a night, good place to be. People in the pub were nice and friendly. Really quiet place to park, there were not many people that night. They have a container for the services, there is a washing machine and a tumble dryer, toilets and shower. Would recommend
We stayed here for 1 night and we really loved it. £24 for a motorhome with electric and water. All services we would expect. Showers are a bit gross to be honest, specially the gents ones. They have only 1 shower for each bathroom which doesn’t look too practical if several people are staying in the campsite and need the showers. They have a restaurant and serve pretty tasty and decent food.
