Un bel endroit pour rester juste sur le Tigre. Malheureusement un peu sale, mais après le coucher du soleil, vous avez votre paix et votre tranquillité lorsque tous les habitants sont partis.
A nice place to stay right on the Tigris. Unfortunately a little dirty, but after sunset you have your peace and quiet when all the locals are gone.
Ein schöner Übernachtungsplatz direkt am Tigris. Leider ein wenig dreckig, aber nach Sonnenuntergang hat man seine Ruhe, wenn alle Einheimischen weg sind.

The exact location is no longer acceseble. i stayed at the fort a little futher. This place (and surrounding land) belongs to some locals, but they are very happy to welcome tourists and told me to tell everyone about this place. Nobody lives there, they just hang out here sometimes. If you hear shots, no worries. The place is full of wild boars and they shoot in the air to keep them away!
A quiet, peaceful place to spent the night, 6 kilometers from the highway along a dirt road. You can stand by the river after crossing a small ford about 30 cm. deep. Good Internet.
The place is full with biting insects. To get there you‘ll need to drive a long dirt road. The river itself is brown, so washing yourself seems not appealing. We spend one night there bc we arrived too late to search for something else. Not worth the trouble to drive to that place.
En hiver ce n’était pas merveilleux, très boueux avec pas mal d’endroits brûlés. Ne convient pas aux camping-cars, le chemin d’accès est très sinueux à un endroit. Mais très calme, nous n’avons vu personne
We followed Google Maps for this stop, and it took us to the wrong side of the river. We ended up on land which looked like it may belong to someone (also muddy). We still spent a peaceful night there, but the west side of the river was much better, so I would recommend using Google maps and then pinning the other side of the river and going there instead. Lovely, but rubbish around, as always.
Muy bonito entorno, al lado del mitico río Tigris!!Hemos parado para almorzar pero seguramente es muy adecuado también para pasar una noche tranquila! No había mucha basura, pero sí mucho barro así que cuidado donde decides parar!!
