Juste après le parking indiqué sur P4N comme aire de pique-nique, un vrai espace entouré d'arbres et dans l'herbe (attention s'il a beaucoup plu, risque de rester coincé, dans ce cas rentrez dans le parking gravillonné plus près de la route mais peu de passage tout de même). Nous étions sur ce qui ressemble à un vieux pont. Idéal pour une nuit avant d'aller à Alton Towers Park, avec un vrai effet nature ! Remarque : Le pont d'accès a une limite de poids de 3T.
Just after the car park indicated on P4N as a picnic area, a real space surrounded by trees and in the grass (be careful if it has rained a lot, risk of getting stuck, in this case get into the gravel car park more close to the road but little passing all the same). We stood on what looks like an old bridge. Ideal for a night before going to Alton Towers Park, with a real nature effect! Note: The access bridge has a 3T weight limit.
Gleich hinter dem Parkplatz, der auf P4N als Picknickplatz angegeben ist, ein echter Platz, umgeben von Bäumen und im Gras (Vorsicht, wenn es viel geregnet hat, es besteht die Gefahr, dass man steckenbleibt, in diesem Fall auf den Schotterparkplatz in der Nähe fahren). die Straße, aber trotzdem wenig vorbei). Wir standen auf etwas, das wie eine alte Brücke aussieht. Ideal für eine Nacht vor dem Ausflug in den Alton Towers Park, mit echtem Natureffekt! Hinweis: Für die Zugangsbrücke gilt eine Gewichtsbeschränkung von 3 Tonnen.

Nos paramos en lo que parece un viejo puente. ¡Ideal para una noche antes de ir a Alton Towers Park, con un efecto de naturaleza real! Nota: El puente de acceso tiene un límite de peso de 3T.

Very large car park, LOTS of cyclists in the morning, fairly level, extremely close to alton towers, definitely a place for local drug drop offs further down the track..they didn't bother us, 1 bar 5G on EE, fairly clean and bins present, very quiet once the dealer left, 2 other vans were there over night, old railway line walk so very flat would come back if I was in the area, loverly apple tree!

A superb find! This was our first free parking experience so I was a little nervous but needn’t have been. Quiet, peaceful and completely safe. There were 3 campers in the end overnight, but otherwise quiet before dog walkers and cyclist arrive from the morning. Would highly recommend and stay again if ever in the area.
loads of spaces, it was a bit busy on a Friday night with people driving up to the cricket ground at the end but quiet over night until the dog walkers started arriving. easy walk to the cricketers pub, friendly locals, dart board & pool table. go past the car park on the left with the height barrier, take the next left over the 3t limit bridge.
Just echoing what other reviewers have said..... lovely place to stop over that's quiet, peaceful and so close to Alton Towers. Will definitely use this again. Clean area, no car noise except those coming and going for dog walking etc or using the sports field further up the lane. Bin on site

Awesome spot . Lovely friendly locals passed by and said hello . No issues what so ever . Lots of space for many vans and only five mins from shops and Alton towers
To find the place pass the main car park with barrier and turn next left via bridge 3T and you will find big gravel car park without any ristrictions.Good 4G signal and one small bin.Great old railway truck with lots of walks also some ponds and woodlands. Perfect for walk with dogs and bikers.Perfect location for night.Very close to Alton Tower. Two pubs walking distance.
endroit très calme, quelques passants le matin qui viennent faire caguer leur chien. une poubelle a proximité. parfait pour camper dans le respect de la nature même si c est difficile à comprendre pour certains locaux

Brilliant park up. At the end is a sports car park place but before that some lovely little woodland spots, with beautiful walks through the woods and over dales. Couple of other vans, felt super safe.
Beatiful spot with walks along the old train tracks. Other cars parked there to access the football pitch until dark and again at 9am the next morning. Seems well maintained and there is a rubbish bin. Plenty of space and no height barrier.
Very quite (and dark). A car parked next to us around 21:30 and left 30 min later but no noise. Also some dog-walkers and mountainbikers arrived early morning. Great place to stay before visiting Alton Towers!
Great access for food stop in Cheadle. then spent the night before going to alton towers, lovely spot.
Gorgeous spot, surrounded by beautiful nature and lovely villages. Close to Alton Towers too ready for an awesome day. There's a bin provided too. Would stay again.
Super spot with an interesting disused railway platform. A few friendly dog walkers in the morning. Quiet at night (a few owl hoots). Will certainly use again for Alton Towers (under 10 minutes away).
