Lovely largely woodland country park with large car park, cafe, bins and toilets (open when cafe is). Can't overnight here as gates are locked at 8pm (May 2025).

Merlinthemercedes07/05/2025Great day spot for a walk and to use facilities. Water tap does ask for use only for water for dogs and to clean boots, so would avoid filling your tank. Walking routes don’t take as long as they say and also watch out for adders at this time of year, we kept our dogs on lead to be safe. Plenty of space for big vans. Lovely coffee and cake from the coffee shop.
Wixy2416/03/2025Went here for a couple of reasons and both were met. Plenty of walks in the woods for dogs and I can confirm the water tap is available and used it to fill up. Make sure you have hose connectors to be able to attach to the hose as it is fixed to the tap with a jubliee clip
j555fjr26/10/2024lovely place to relax and have a nice walk. loads of dog walkers all day and a nice cafe for a brew. wardens and council do patrol and check on the ponies. no over night stays, gates close 8pm summer and we were told it could be earlier in autumn and winter.

Lovely place to sit for the day with a nice cafe and forest to walk the dog in. 4G signal is good so you can sir here and work for the day. There is a small section of the car park that doesn’t get gated off but not sure if you can stay the night or not.
marmayer02/08/2023Très agréable parking de jour. Des toilettes sont disponibles (uniquement quand le snack est ouvert), un robinet d’eau potable est accessible à tout moment sur la gauche des toilettes. Tables de pique-nique.
