Aparcamos aquí un par de horas para visitar Colmar. A 7 minutos en bici, es muy buena ubicación. Para quedarte a dormir pienso que es mejor ir a otro lugar.

We tried to park along here in our motorhome and a resident told us the police were stopping camping-cars from parking there. There were no signs to say we couldn’t stop here but we felt uncomfortable and so left.

The spaces along the road were almost full during the day with lots of cars and motorhomes - we were lucky to find a spot in the early afternoon. The parking was flat and it is was an easy walk into the city. By the time we got back at sunset, we were the only live-in vehicle left, which threw us a little - but we spent a peaceful night and left the next morning before the school traffic started.

Bien pour se garer en journée mais pas la nuit, les accotements sont en pente. En soit assez proche du centre à pied et avec de l’ombre en Août.

dvdxuesheng9217/05/2024Don’t worry if you can’t find a parking place where the GPS takes you, just look around this street and nearby. Quiet area and parking for free. 15-20minute walking distance to the little touristic downtown.

Free parallel parking so good for longer vans. Easy 15 min into town to see the Christmas markets. It was a very busy Friday night, cars and buses bringing people in for the markets so easier to go out a bit further and walk. The night was quiet though, no houses in this part of the street, just an abandoned chateau and kindergarten so good not to disturb the locals.
