kind of weird place. we stayed over for one night got the knock for cash at 8pm. water available but site is very messy and old cars and caravans around but we parked at far end with some great views. Great walks to the beach and some cafe close by.
Nous sommes passés devant le site aujourd'hui, l'endroit ne paye pas de mine, sol en dur mais boueux, plat ou presque, un mobile-home en cours d'installation de sorte qiu'il n'y a plus de place que pour 1 ou 2 véhicules à notre avis. Pas de vue, mais tout proche à pied il y a une magnifique plage (devant laquelle nous avons passé la nuit dans le renfoncement de la route). En dépannage uniquement.
At the moment there are only 3 spaces due to works in progress. Water and EHU but no black waste on a quiet flat Aire. Friendly owner calls to collect cash in the evening.
Le cadre n’est pas terrible du tout. C’est en cas d’urgence seulement. Eau et électricité pour 15£. Rien d’autre même pas des poubelles. Martin vient à des horaires improbables et pas celui indiqué de 18h30…. Pas de 4G fiable .. plutôt Edge.
For the price of £15 and what’s around you in terms of sites OPEN very grateful this was here and couldn’t complain for the EHU and fresh water and a peaceful nights sleep on the NC500 and ideal as next too smoo cave. Would recommend and return.
Stayed 1 night 16-Jan. It’s not the prettiest but serves a well needed purpose with EHU and fresh water available. No other services. 4G/5G good. Owner nice and collected money morning of departure. It is VERY exposed and quite a rough night with 60mph winds. Would stay again for convenience but not in poor weather.
Preis ok, 15£, bis 11 Uhr morgens muss man den Platz verlassen, wobei wir auch erst um 12.30 gefahren sind. Platz ist eben, abends sieht man die Hasen hüpfen, hinten raus schöne Aussicht
Schöner und ruhiger Stellplatz mit Strom. Kostet 15 £ incl. Strom. Netter Platzbetreiber. Kommt am Abend um ca. 18.30 Uhr zum Abkassieren. Platz für 5 Wohnmobile. Für 1 Nacht absolut ok. Bei uns war es sehr windig und im 10 Minuten Takt Wechsel zwischen Sonne und Regen.
The weather was so bad and kept us awake all night, the only facility is the EHU, water, and and rubbish bin (all these for £15), guy was nice, place was quiet only us, on that night ( horrendous rain and wind )I would not recommend for more than one night only (when nowhere else to stay)
Zeer nette parkeerplaats met elektriciteit voor £15 per nacht. Zeer vriendelijke mensen, mooi uitzicht, dichtbij het strand en aan een rustige doodlopende weg.
Wir kamen zu spät, es war schon alles besetzt. Wir haben dann vor dem Platz auf dem Grasstreifen (kostenlos) übernachtet. Ein lieber Mitcamper hat unseren Akku in der Nacht mit aufgeladen - DANKE
Too little (Service) for too much (20.-). Stayed one Night but would not revisit.
Great little stop over , room for 6 Motorhomes only 2 the night we stayed. Think it was Martin ( friendly guy ) that collected £20 with electric at around 6.30 pm .
Not the most pleasant on the eye but very peaceful and in a good spot to start the next morning off with a beach walk and hot chocolate from Cocoa mountain. £20 is a bit steep but I’d stay again

Il n'y a pas de vidanges et l'endroit manque de charme, mais quand on a besoin d'électricité pour recharger ses batteries, ça dépanne bien. Le propriétaire est passé encaisser vers 20h15 et nous a fait payer 15 £ au lieu des 20 £ affichées, car il baisse le prix demain.
Called Martin to just use the water fill up, £2. Great location for an overnight stop within the craft village. Will include the picture of price etc..

Quiet spot with a lovely view to the mountains on one side and Balnakiel Bay on the other. The guy collected our £20 at 6.30pm. There were 5 other vans with us for the night (max 6 capacity). Water, rubbish bins and electric hook up. Toilets in Durness, 10 min walk away, or the cafe in the craft centre around the corner (during opening hours). Services in Durness.
Quiet, simple plot! Electric hook up for 6 vans overlooking the hills! Man came at 7:30pm to collect payment of £20!
Staying here tonight, only motorhome in. Parking right beside beautiful loch, quiet road beside. Electric and water available but no toilets or showers
