Only £5 per night to stay. £5 if you need to empty black waste. Great value. Lovely place to stay. Owners very helpful. Lots to do and plenty of places to eat in the local town.

Great campervan aire. We spent a very peaceful night here on the 30th May all alone. For £10 me and my wife and the dog. The lady was very friendly and gave me info on the area and offered to help with filling up our water. They have a spot over the road to sit at and watch the seals sunbathing on the rocks. Excellent

A really nice place to stay. We were welcomed by the owners who gave us so much information. We payed to stay the night and electric for two nights £20. If you want to empty your toilet that’s another £5 but all together £15 is still a good price. Would definitely use again.

Excellent. Highly recommend. The owners Greg & Cecilia can't do enough. Super helpful and super knowledgeable. Always on hand. Wonderful, kind people. The pitches are great - hardstanding. During the recent winter storms - it was perfect for watching the wild sea with a protective wall to the other side. Great value for money. Town in walking distance along the coast - perfect.

Good stop over a little noisy for me but I’m a light sleeper. Great views swimming pool facilities are excellent

Just had 2 nights here, hosted by Cecilia and Greg. Beautiful spot- saw the Aurora (camera only) and 2 seals so very happy! Nice walk into Fraserburgh- interesting to see the fishing industry at work. No dog friendly cafes/pubs (unless you want to sit outside) that we could find, sadly. Will come back. Great value.

Stayed end of October. Nice, simple cheap aire stopped on my journey round the east coast but thanks to Greg's advice went on to Inverness and travelled west to return home and all I can say is thanks for the excellent advice.

Excellent stopover! Everything we could want as well as friendly hosts offering good advice for continuing north in October. A gem.

Superb facility! Level all-weather pitches, great toilet disposal option. Water and electric available at the time of stay (23/9/24). Unique access to the owners’ very own bit of the beach, seals and birds to keep you entertained. Easy walking distance to shops and harbour. Owners really lovely people who go out of their way to help, advising on local attractions etc. Will definitely be back. Tks

Easy access from a B road. Solid Hard standing for large motorhomes. Grass area for smaller vans. Separate pinic area with table, fire pit and barbecue. Seating area to watch the seals (40 or more) and the Northern lights. Warm welcome from a friendly couple who have a lot of knowledge about motor homing and the local area. Supermarket 5 mins on foot. What more for could you want for £5!

Proprietari molto attenti a dare consigli sul luogo e prezzo contenuto 5£ per la sola sosta. Tuttavia si tratta di un piccolo giardino accanto alla strada, con auto che passano veloci dalle 6 del mattino fino a tarda sera. Se hai fortuna puoi vedere qualche Foca sulla spiaggia di fronte, noi ne abbiamo viste davvero poche e lontane. Sconsigliato.

Lugar perfecto para hacer una parada en nuestro viaje. Aunque esté la carretera al lado se descansa perfectamente, porque a la noche no hay tráfico. Los dueños son encantadores, explicando todo con detenimiento. Desde allá se ven y se oyen cantar a las focas. Gracias por acogernos en vuestra casa .

Services pour 5£ : vidange WC et plein d’eau. Pas possible de vider les eaux grises, et c’est bien dommage, parce que ça a l’air compliqué de pouvoir le faire dans le secteur…

great spot with easy access. a bit tight for our 9.5m expedition vehicle but owner was super helpful in getting us in and settled. provided great advice as to what to see and do in town. we planned in doing a quick overnight stop but stayed for two. don't miss the lighthouse museum and Findlay's for seafood/fish!

Handy stop over. Hosts very chatty and helpful. We used their services and then carried onto the Lighthouse Museum.

A fantastic little stopover. there is a small garden with three benches looking over the coastline which is great for seal spotting (at least 100 basking on the rocks) £3 for electric hook-up and great guy with loads of local knowledge of the area

Great stopover on the way to Fraserburgh. The owner was very friendly and helpful. He filled up our tanks and gave us great recommendations for our trip. The place has a direct view on the sea and we watched the seals nearby. The owner even lend us his glasses so that we could see them better. Unfortunately we didn’t stay for the night, as we were just passing through. But we would totally recommend to stay longer. Thanks again :)

Hosts welcoming. Knowledgeable. Location was ok. Only negative the noisy road but it did quieten after dark. It’s a stop over so basic. Happy to pay £5 more to empty the toilet waste. Water provided and bins. Maybe the view of the sea from pitch would have earnt it 5 stars. Good walk to the lighthouse museum and harbour and back. Thanks again.

Very lovely place to stay overnight. Greg and Cecilia are shared with us some nice places to visit around. There are 5 places for big motorhomes and in the garden for smaller ones or tents.

Glenbuchty is beautifully located on the coast road between Fraserburgh and Sandhaven, ideal for exploring the region, with lots of tips from the live in hosts Cecilia and Greg, who could not be more helpful and welcoming. The Aire is £5 a night, with fresh water and bins, a levell hardstanding and waste disposals at a small extra charge, use the headland benches to seal watch or see the aurora.

Nice place to stop opersite the sea, very accommodating couple that live there, nice 15 minute walk into town and port, asda and homebargins 10 minutes walk.

Ein toller Parkplatz für 1-2 Nächte!!! Greg ist so unfassbar freundlich ( @ Greg ich hoffe dir hat das deutsche Bier geschmeckt) tagsüber etwas laut! nachts aber völlig okay!!

Good value for money. Some great local info from Greg. Saw the seals which was lovely. Walking distance to shops & Mc Donald’s. Traffic very busy in the day but quiet at night.

We had a lovely two nights here on the NE250. Greg and Cecilia are accommodating hosts, esp as they have plenty of travelling experience. Greg is the fount of all knowledge of the local area (and more). The facilities are clean, beautiful views, murmuring starlings and seals are easily visible without disturbing them from the benches on the beach side part of their property.

Super Stellplatz mit Blick aufs Meer, extrem freundlicher Betreiber, der gerne Informationen zu sehenswerten Ecken in der Umgebung gegeben hat. Abends konnten wir etliche Seehunde beobachten, Fernglas ist vom Vorteil... auf jeden Fall eine empfehlenswerte Übernachtungsmöglichkeiten dazu noch sehr preisgünstig.

Habe bloss Wassertanks aufgefüllt. ABER Greg war äusserst nett und hilfsbereit! Gratis Wasser, Infos zum Küstenabschnitt, Seehunde (mindestens 20 Stück) am Sonnen gezeigt. Die Plätze auf seinem Grundstück sind einladend. Thanks Greg, nice to meet you!

If Carlsberg did motorhome stopovers this would be it, Cecilia and Greg have made a fantastic place at Glenbuchty Motorhome Stopover Aire. At £5 per night per van and £5 CDP waste disposal for staying guests or as a service drop. not only is it really cheap, very clean and welcoming the views are fantastic. Asda,Home bargains and McDonalds all within a 5 min walk away, Can’t wait to come back!

Stayed here Friday 28/4/23 very peaceful night, shame the seals had been scared off by the Orcas but I’m sure they’ll be back. Took a drive into Fraserburgh and had a walk around the port, oh my goodness, the size of some of the boats!!!!! Very handy for Asda’s just round the corner.

Stopped here for 2 nights brilliant location its an Aire so you should know what to expect Greg the owner is a very knowledgeable and helpful guy we would definitely recommend.

Cracking little spot right on sea front, Greg the owner is mind of info about the area, no bogs but u can empty yours for a five, £5 a night to stop wicked price well worth it as u can go over the road & sit on 2 benches that Greg has put there so u can c seals & if u r lucky there r orcas as well, short walk to town about 30mins,little road noise but didn't bother us, defo come back

facilities to empty toilet, and full fresh water, no toilets or ehu but we didn't mind, well worth the price.

Stayed 3 nights ago, brilliant stopover worth a fiver, great views , lovely owners who have loads of info of the local area, credit to the MH community, highly recommend .

Wish there were more places like this. £5 a night is outstanding value. Good views across the road(quiet at night) to beach and sea. Host passed in some good ideas of places to visit including the Dolphin cafe at Peterborough harbour for excellent fish and chips.

echte aanrader!!!! geweldige mensen. niet duur, recht aan het strand 15 meter lopen. wij hebben even gebeld van te voren maar staan uiteindelijk nog maar met 2 campers. ik kan het niet genoeg benadrukken echt geweldige mensen!! en vanaf hiervandaan naar iverness heel mooi rijden(met beetje mooi weer).

Absolutely brilliant stop ! Greg and Cecelia are amazing hosts. if you like wildlife this is the stop for you .. large colony of grey seals on the boulder beach opposite, a plethora of sea birds and you also get mainland birds .. we were lucky enough to see a grey heron fishing for breakfast and a murmeration of starlings. Easy access to Fraserburgh, amazing harbour and must visit beach. 10/10 !

Simple, sympa, accessible même pour un cc de plus de 7m. Une colonie d'otaries qui se font des bains de soleil sur les rochers de l'autre côté de la route (petit aménagement de bancs sur le front de mer pour bien en profiter). Nickel, surtout après un passage à Aberdeen assez compliqué au niveau des services.

Super nette und freundliche Betreiber. Einfacher Platz direkt am Rastplatz der Seehunde. Tolle Lage. Keine Sanitäranlagen.

Parfait pour un arrêt de nuit. Les propriétaires sont vraiment adorables et serviables. Vous traversez la route et vous avez une colonie de phoques qui vous accueille. Trop bien !

We stayed here for 1 night on a tour of the coast. Friendly and helpful owners. Parking flat and easy to access site. The sea is right opposite with lots of seals. Seats by the site to watch them from. There is road noise in the day but it was quiet from 11pmish to 7amish. Good value for money and Asda close by.

Lovely aire. Relaxed, friendly welcome, no fuss and the seals sing you to sleep at night. Booked for 2 nights but stayed for 4. Nice jewelery and rhubarb jam for sale.

Perfect aire with large pitches. Nice hosts with a lot of local knowledge. 5 mins walk to the retail park with Asda or 10 mins walk to town. Seals on the beach at the other side of the road. We went fishing on the Misty sea angling trip and caught a lot of fish, parked at the harbour while fishing as it's quiet at the weekend. Highly recommend this aire, we need more like this around the country.

A simple, fairly level site with minimal facilities and a small price. Friendly and helpful owners (ex-vanlifers who bought the associated house in the pandemic). Big supermarkets/McDonalds within 10 minutes walk. Seaview across boulder-strewn beach is good for seal and maybe whale watching Downside? Traffic is fast and noisy just the other side of wall. But it's a very useful position and welcome.

Great stopover, use of water taps, recycling bins and regular bins. Lovely bench across road by the water. Owners accommodating as can be and happy to help! Room for a few vans and a short walk into town!

A lovely view of the sea and great hosts to meet you. Walking distance to nearby shops and 2 local towns. Really enjoying our stay!
