Parking n°1, simple parking plat tout proche des grottes, nous avons passé une nuit calme. Aucun service CC sur place mais il y a les services qui sont gratuits à l'entrée de la ville.

siamo arrivati alle 15,30. personale del parcheggio molto gentile e disponibile. abbiamo pernottato in mezzo agli ulivi. molto tranquillo. abbiamo pagato 7 euro per una notte.
We arrived at 4pm and there were many places to park even big campers.We did not spend the night there but there is the possibility. If you are lucky you might find some shade.
Kauft eure Eintrittskarten direkt am Eingang der Grotte und nicht am Gebäude des Parkplatz. Dort ist es teurer und euch wird noch eine blödsinnige Vorführung in einem unansehnlichen 3D Kino verkauft. Also geht zur Grotte und kauft da an der Kasse. Ansonsten der Parkplatz ist gut zum Übernachte, und die Grotte ist einmalig.
Très calme la nuit. Sommes restés 2 nuits avec 3 camping car, et aucune voiture. Le parking est propre et bien gravillonné sans poussière. On voit qu'ils sont en train de faire des barrières automatiques. Pour l'instant des personnes très sympa encaissent pendant la journée à l'entrée. Il ne manque plus qu'une aire de vidange et remplissage pour avoir 5 étoiles
8,5m. in 23/5/2026 out 24/5/2026. Parcheggio a pagamento, illuminato, senza servizi. L'ingresso costa 8€ per i camper (gratuito per i possessori di contrassegno europeo per disabili). Di notte è molto tranquillo. Comodo per andare a visitare le grotte di Castellana.
Semplice parcheggio sterrato, abbiamo pagato € 4 poiché abbiamo un Van da 5 metri. Purtroppo cani che abbaiano tutta notte. Posizione ottima per visita grotte.
Die unruhigste Nacht, die ich seit Wochen erlebt habe. Ein Kommen und Gehen bis in den Morgen hinein. Hundegebell und das aufdringliche Gebläse von Ventilatoren rund um den Platz. Es gibt Bänke und Tische und getrennte Müllentsorgung.

We paid €7 for the night. In the end, all other motorhomes drove off but the tree lined parking spaces, I didn't feel unsafe. Only problem for us, we parked in the far end corner and there seemed to be some kind of business over the wall, some kind of generator would have kept us awake so moved to another part of the parking.

Die lange Höhlentour ist phantastisch.
Allerdings ist die Zeit für die Tour etwas knapp bemessen. Dafür geht es zum Schluss mit dem Fahrstuhl hoch.
7 euros to park the camper . Should’ve been free really. Road side seems to have plenty of space but they decided to milk the tourists until the end. The Grotte is nice (though nothing too spectacular) and expensive. We thought to stay the night but ended up not feeling comfortable there. A neighbor told us that there’s a 24h illegal cheese factory adjacent to the car park.
Bel posto, ampio , con zone d'ombra . Piantumato ad ulivi , ci si parcheggia dove si vuole .

Ottimo punto di appoggio per trascorrere una giornata e anche la notte a Castellana Grotte, non ci sono servizi ma si può ovviare a 1 km di distanza per c/s nell'area sosta gratuita. Abbiamo pagato €7 per 24 ore.
Grand parking à 5min à pied des grottes. Pas de service. 7euros pour un van. Pratique mais un peu cher pour 2h de visite des grottes. Nous n’y avons pas passé la nuit.
Bien pour visiter la grotte
Mais ne pas y rester pour dormir, les jeunes viennent avec leur musique, d'autres font des essais de voiture, une fromagerie juste à côté les gens parlent tard et fort et pour finir le train. Je recommande pour la nuit
Total disaster in the night. There is some factory in nearby and people speak all time very loudly. Also local people like to drive thru in the night … better look for another place for night.
Parking calme et vaste au niveau des oliviers, contrairement aux autres commentaires, peu de bruit. Nous avons par contre déplacé le camping-car le soir pour s’éloigner des chiens et de la fromagerie. Espace table en pierre pour un petit déjeuner le matin. Bien pour une nuit
Bon emplacement pour visiter les grottes mais....le parc d'Oliviers est le terrain de jeu des chiens la nuit. Pour 1 nuit tranquille, boules Quies obligatoires.
Je confirme, très bruyant : chiens, trains + fête jusqu'à 3h si vous arrivez comme nous le 12/08. Pas de chance. Mais pas cher et proche de l'entrée de la grotte.
Oups ! Vous avez dormi au calme ? Pour nous : Trains jusqu'à minuit et à partir de 5h + chiens qui aboient + fromagerie qui (en été ?) bosse la nuit fenêtres ouvertes, difficile de dormir ici en juillet ! --> 2 camping-cars/5 sont partis vers 1h !
