excellent stay, road not too loud and nice peaceful stream. Busy during the day with swimmers and walkers but shouldn't be a problem anymore because we woke up to a council man putting up a pay and display meter and signs saying no overnight. another unfortunate loss to the community. Sad days indeed.
Brilliant spot, busy but beautiful would definitely recommend for a stay around ullswater right by a bridge perfect location
Two small car parks, aside of the river, nice water sounds to relax. Near the road, it can be busy day time. Ideal for small or medium vans
nuit calme, pas de vent, juste bercé par le bruit du ruisseau. sol boueux suite aux pluies des derniers jours. A 5 min a pied d'un splendide lac.
Nice and quiet. Lots of other vans there and didn’t get moved on. As another review says there are actually two car parks - we stayed in the one over the bridge (the smaller one) as it had more campers in. Very fast access to brothers water which is nice (though the spot is not directly next to the lake as pictures suggest). Big climb heading north - quite intense for an old van!
