A great spot for an overnight stay. mostly level and space for 4 or 5 vans. The view of the waterways and the marina with plenty of boats make a calming atmosphere as do the swans and ducks passing by. No services, not even rubbish bins, as in much of Ireland.
Lovely spot to park up especially further along at the old wall. Very quiet at night and clean showers and toilet if you have a Waterways Ireland card. Sad to see that the local drinking fraternity left their rubbish at picnic tables for others to clear up.
Very pretty along the river. However, where we parked, the road sounds were load at night
one option in Belturbet. Small town that is struggling like all rural towns. A few pubs and takeaway options. Railway museum open Fri-Sun during tourist seasons. Nice loop walk along old railway bed (spot the wooly mammoth). For those with an Irish Waterways Card there is a shower/toilet block halfway between marina and Ducking Stool park up. clean, warm and lovely hot water.
ein schöner Stellplatz flach, etwas rasen und gepflastert. Mülleimer vorhanden. Gegenüber einer Marina . Platz für ca 3-4 Wohnmobile. liegt neben einer Straße die in der Nacht aber kaum befahrenen ist. gut mit dem Hund zu laufen.
This is a gem of a place probably four or five vans in the main part and two or three if you turn left stunning location in town please don’t leave a mess and spoil it for the future . Great little town ! Great bars The Yukon bar and the Castle bar great Guinness !
great stay,very nice view,very nice quiet place,please leave it tidy and respect this area so we all can enjoy in the future,toilets closed only can be accessed with marine club card,bins available,parking can fit few small and large campers,town pubs takeaways just 5 min away by walk,lovely spot,leveled ground,would definitely recommend this stay,no height restrictions,locals very friendly.
We parked at the end of the driveway in the corner by the old stone walls - there are 3 flat parking spots, but cannot fit anything longer than 6 m van. Pretty views of the river Erne and the boats. Very quiet night. Weak phone signal.
ziemlich ruhiger, schön gelegener Standort, wo nur Hundebesitzer manchmal Gassi gehen. Vorsicht bei der Zufahrt: Google Maps will einen über den Fussweg führen. Zufahrt nur über Clones Road.
