lovely little stop for a night, great food and views, we felt very welcome and slept well. The road was a little noisy but didn't bother us in the slightest. The owners are doing a great job and have hired an amazing chef

Perfectly adequate, good flat pitches, black waste disposal, hook ups, water .Friendly good value pub with well cooked no frills menu.Right on the road with the occasional train passing behind so a little noisy at times but all in all a great place for a stop over.

A lovely little stopover for a night in the motorhome. The scenery is beautiful, and the pitches are flat with hook-up available. Facilities were clean and perfectly adequate. The pub is charming—proper old-school feel—and the landlady is a warm and welcoming Scouser. The food was hearty, simple but satisfying. Would definitely stop again!
Raven59408/07/2025A lovely family spot with grass and play area. All amenities for motorhomes and caravans. A nice pub with friendly staff. Collette will happily greet and assist you. The kitchen staff offer all types of meals, vegan, gluten free and vegetarian as well. Pub open until 10 p.m. and the kitchen last order is 7:30 pm. Minutes to Welshpool town to visit the sites and shops.

Nebst gut essen nicht empfehlendswert. Die Strasse ist sehr laut und die ganze Nacht LKW Verkehr. Sanitäre Anlagen haben sich nicht geändert, sehr bescheiden. Keine Abfallentsorgung. Zahlten 30£.

Fantastic place to stay, the owners Tommy and Shaz are so welcoming and friendly. We love coming here! The food is absolutely fantastic too!! Dog and family friendly. Would recommend to anyone!
danmarkgirl30/07/2023Die angrenzende Straße ist recht laut. Der Stellplatz an sich aber großzügig gestaltet. Einfach beim Personal im Pub melden. Haben für eine Nacht zu viert 25£ bezahlt. Hätten tatsächlich auch gerne im Pub gegessen, da sie dort aber aktuell zu wenig Köche haben, wurde kein Essen angeboten. Die Sanitäranlagen allerdings sind nicht wirklich einladend.

Such a lovely pub, the staff are really friendly and make you feel welcome. The pitches are clean and have a large space per pitch. The road is loud during the day but later on in the night it’s minimal. There is also a level crossing which runs until late but does stop.

What a fabulous place to stop over!! Couldn’t do enough to help. Phoned ahead to book. We were going to be late arriving so they let us pre-order food and told us to drive safely! The staff were so friendly. Huge pitches and a great location for a stop over from south to north wales!! The food was amazing there too!! Will definitely return

New owners from Feb, Tommy and Sharon, very welcoming. Site is being improved (which it needs, shower and toilet block requires updating, but will do for now) £20 per night with EHU, lovely food in pub, new hard standing done for 5 units, grass for others. Noisy road, but you get used to it on second night. (Bring ear plugs!) flat and clean site, lovely views.

Under new ownership, campervan with 2 people and hook-up now £20 per night. Pub serves basic pub grub, big helpings, good quality. Services clean. Camping right by road, noisy in daytime but not so bad at night.

C'est au bord d'une assez grosse route et d'une petite voie ferrée et surtout, on ne nous a pas demandé £10, mais £25 (pour un grand camping-car avec 2 adultes et 5 enfants).
