Nice park up, slightly uneven ground, one other van while I was there, couple of dog walkers in the morning but very quiet
Parking pour piste de marche. a passé une nuit ici, quelques promeneurs de chiens, très peu de véhicules qui passent pendant la nuit. Il y a encore quelques haltes sur la même route. Pas de poubelles ni de toilettes
Car park for walking track. spent one night here, a few dog walkers, very few passing vehicles during the night. There is a few more lay-bys along the same road. No bins or toilet facilities
Parkplatz für Wanderweg. verbrachte eine Nacht hier, ein paar Hundewanderer, sehr wenige vorbeifahrende Fahrzeuge während der Nacht. Es gibt noch ein paar Rastplätze entlang derselben Straße. Keine Mülleimer oder Toiletten
Estacionamiento para pista peatonal. Pasé una noche aquí, algunos paseadores de perros, muy pocos vehículos que pasaban durante la noche. Aún quedan algunas paradas en la misma ruta. No hay botes de basura ni inodoros.

Great place for a quiet nights sleep. Arrived at 10pm and woke up undisturbed by anyone. Would definitely recommend.
TMAN_07/04/2025Lovely quiet spot with nature walks nearby. Mostly on a slope but you can get level enough to sleep. Located under power lines but not high voltage. 4G signal isn't bad but isn't great. Please be respectful and keep this place clean for the future! Best to access from the south. Access from north/a272 is unsuitable for vehicles larger than a medium camper

Had a quiet and peaceful night here alone. Some cars come and go but from 8pm all gone and nobody until 8am the next day. The crime area sign almost put us off, but it felt safe and think that sign has been up for years.
adamWHU11/05/2024The perfect spot for a bit of van camping. Quiet, secluded and it felt safe when we parked over night. No facilities. There were a few dog walkers in the morning but all were friendly with us.

Super easy to find, very quiet and a lovely place to go for a wander in the morning. There was one other camper there when we arrived in the evening, who left thereafter. In the morning a couple of cars turned up for dog walks, but didn’t disturb us at all. Probably room for about 4 or 5 vehicles , nice and level. Big fan!

It’s like a charger for your soul. Absolutely beautiful. Stayed in the smaller lay-by opposite, park on the left lengthways, although it’s a slope the back of the van was level. No facilities, picked up a small bin bag of litter as rent. Lots of friendly dog walkers, horse riders and deer so watch out if your dog likes to chase all of the above! Don’t want to leave!
