Two lay-bys, the western one which is marked is more of a farm entrance so we didn’t use. Not a particularly quiet road but did quieten down at night. A bit of litter as you expect from a lay-by. Train line is right next to the stop but trains are infrequent- last one circa 23.15, first one 7.30. No freight trains. Ok as an overnight.
