Beautiful parking by the beach toilets open in day

Wunderschöner Platz mit direktem Strandzugang. Eine öffentliche Toilette ist in ca. 100m Entfernung zu erreichen. Der Platz eignet sich sehr gut, wenn die Fähre am morgen um 7.45 Uhr erreicht werden soll. Einfach traumhaft hier.

Wunderschön und genügend Platz für mehrer Camper.

A really beautiful spot with a lovely beach. Quite a few campers here and a quiet night was had by all. If you do happen to stay in the area on a Friday night, check out Cromarty Hall in St Margaret’s Hope as we went to a Ceilidh there last night and it was brilliant. We had such a laugh with the locals who were so friendly and welcoming. Great fun! Check out their Facebook page for events etc

Einer der schönsten Stellplätze direkt am Meer mit Sandstrand . Sehr ruhig und sauber.

Very nice but also very popular with campervans - lined up like sardines. Good toilets at the car park.

What a spot! Beautiful view to wake up to. We spent a very quiet night before the catching the ferry from St Margaret's Hope the next morning. Quite a few other campers. Toilets just up the road. Absolutely lovely thank you.

Schöner Parkplatz an einem Strand. Kleines Klo Häuschen etwa 100 m entfernt. Perfekte ruhige Nacht zusammen mit ein paar Wohnmobilen und der Campingwagen.

Enjoyed a fab, if rather blowy, overnight. Toilet close by, men’s was open, ladies locked so ‘unisex’ it was! Several places to pull in, just choose what suits. Highly recommended, close to ferry port, wonderful beach / sea views.

Ruhiger, sehr schön gelegener freier und offizieller Stellplatz! Je nachdem, wie gut geparkt wird, können 8-10 WoMos hier mit Blick auf das Meer (welches bei Flut nur noch gute 5 Meter entfernt ist) stehen. Es gibt ein öffentliches Toilettengebäude, mit kleinen Waschbecken (warmes Wasser!) und einem kleinen Aufenthaltsraum - alles im Grunde gut gepflegt. Absoluter Tipp !

Buon posto, molto tranquillo per passare la notte. In riva al mare, con il rumore delle onde in sottofondo. Vicino ai bagni pubblici (circa 100 metri). WC aperti anche di notte, funzionanti.

stayed here on 10.07.23 excellent spot beach seems safe went for a dip would be great for paddle boarding quite nights sleep would recommend

Few spots along the small grassy dune next to a beautiful white sand beach. 7 permanent caravans parked there as well. Very quiet on Thursday day, but on the weekend the caravan owners probably come to use them. Good phone signal.

Prachtig plaatsje om te staan. Er zijn ook vuilnisbakken een een toilet. Een local kwam een praatje maken: ‘jullie staan hier mooi he.’ Toch leuk als je zo welkom bent en hij zei ook: een dag niet op Orkney is een verloren dag ;.). Er staan een stuk of 4 caravans (vast) en een stuk of 4 campers nu wij er zijn.

A lovely white Sandy beach to stroll on in fine weather, Toilets close by, can be exposed in certain wind conditions, 100% rain on the night I was parked up here, I found it no problem, Could be better tomorrow

Après avoir ramassé quelques détritus laissés près de la plage et les avoir portés à la poubelle des toilettes à 100m, fait une jolie balade autour de la pointe, nous avons passé une belle nuit malgré le vent de sud-est assez fort en fin de nuit. Encore un chouette spot peu fréquenté malgré la saison.

We stayed over at this great location. We arrived at around 17.00 hours the area was full. We hAd something to eat in carpark near toilets. All the other vans left one by on allowing us to move into a location overlooking the beach. There was just one other van. Nice quiet night a bit windy but nice. No traffic after 21.00 hours.

Parkplatz auf Rasen direkt am Sandstrand. Rasen gepflegt, aber teilweise abfallend gegen das Meer. Keine Infrastruktur, also nichts liegen lassen. Sehr ruhig, Platz für 6 Wohnmobile.

A lovely spot. I had to clear up rubbish left by others, so keep it clean and tidy, there's a bin in the carpark along the road.

Beautiful spot right on the beach, plenty of room for multiple motorhomes. We spent two really quiet nights here with the first night right after the Pentland Ferry so we arrived in the dark around 8(ish). Signal with Vodafone was almost non-existent but we managed to get one via the Mifi Box.

Despite the strong winds we had a quiet night’s sleep and enjoyed the beach the next day when the weather had improved. It appears to be a popular overnight spot but it was still lovely and peaceful.

Beautiful spot, even in the terrible weather we had the one night we stayed! Grass is nice and firm, beach is amazing, toilets were very clean. Busy with other campers when we stayed, but it didn't feel crowded. Highly recommended.

Perfect camping spot with public toilets nearby. Can be windy along the beachfront but there is one sheltered area enough to fit one campervan behind from the wind. Flat parking with beautiful scenery.

One of my favourite places I have ever stayed. beautiful spot right on the beach where we swam in the sea and had dinner watching seals playing. Good clean toilets and bins.

Very beautiful spot, directly at the beach, quiet at night, toilettes very clean and open 24/7. Lovely, short walk starts there to. Village shop and great cafe/pub "Robertson's" not far away in St. Margaretes Hope. If you like beer, I recommend trying the Scapa Special from the local Swannay Brewery, outstanding good.

Brilliant spot for the night, few others when we stayed. Water tap with hose connection in disabled toilet close by. (Sept 2017)

Beau bord de plage. Très pratique car à 5 minutes de l'arrivée du ferry Gills-St Margaret's Hope. Il y avait une dizaine de camping-cars et quelques caravanes

Great view, near toilets (200m) few other campervans, no cars driving through at night
