steveandkate2909/09/2023A great nights’ sleep in our lovely Toyota Alphard. Not as busy as some of the other neighbouring spots along Military Lane - they were full with surfer dudes and their VW campers! However a tiny bit further from the coast. Convenient for walks to Cawsand, Kingsand and Cremyll.
KernowNative17/06/2023one or two nights stay is acceptable, but 6 vans staying put for 4 or 5 days is starting to annoy locals. I've lived in this area all my life and if these spots Start to be taken up by people who take advantage then it won't be long before the local council put up pay and display meters and No overnight Parking signs. Respect the sites you go to, spend a night or 2 then move down the road.
DarrenHyayy10/05/2022Great little spot with lovely walks and views. Stayed for a couple of days before moving on. Road can be busy but during the night was quiet. Ice cream van in attendance during the day which was nice after a good walk along the coast path. Will return.

A lovely spot, a couple of other fellow van dwellers. pleasant of space here. very close to main road and traffic noise is about average. lovely location, close to beach and coastal paths.

I parked here overnight last Saturday & there was plenty of room with only one other motorhome at the location. The view one side is across to Plymouth Sound & the lay-by is right opposite the Fort. There is a couple of bins in the lay-by & a post box. Over night it was quite busy with cars racing up & down but it was the first day that the weather behaved so I couldn’t blame them for making the most of it!
