Description sounds great but we Didnt stay, couldn’t afford it! Mid September, 2 adults and 2 kids was £142 for two nights! (Camper van and trailer-tent!)

This family site lies behind the Red Shoot Inn (separate business) surrounded by magnificent forest scenery. Facilities include 63 electric pitches and 30 non-electric pitches, a bright and modern toilet/shower block, accessible facilities, laundry room, well stocked shop and bakery and children’s play area. Dogs on leads are welcome. Costs from £25/night low season non-electric to £42/night high season electric. Hardstanding additional £6.50 electric is an extra £9/night. Clean, tidy campsite. Unfortunately does not warrant exorbitant prices charged. On our departure, we came across another couple of campsites towards Forest exit more reasonably priced

Very clean clinical site excellent toilets and showers. Arrived and went to check in and was asked £43 for one night, and worse asked for Extra £2.50 for internet, and found out later that was for only 1 device, so would have to pay extra £2.50 for my wife’s iPad. Would not return

Sehr schöner und super ordentlicher Campingplatz mit allem was man braucht… für 22 Pfund zu zweit im van ohne Strom ist bisher auch einer der günstigeren Plätze… wenig bis kein Telefonnetz! Es gibt aber gutes wlan für 2,50 Pfund am Platz, sehr nette Leute am Empfang und im kleinen Shop (Brot kann vorbestellt werden)
Charly_Explorer09/09/2023Perfekter Platz im Park, Grauwasserentsorgung etwas kompliziert, aber mit Hilfe des Stuff machbar. Frischwassertank lässt sich leicht auffüllen, Entsorgung der Chemie-Toilette problemlos. Super Restaurant direkt vor dem Campground. Sehr empfehlenswert!
freddo6913/03/2023Fantastic overnight stay. We stayed for one night and the friendly staff waited for us to arrive as it was after dark. Really nice campsite, super clean showers and toilets, power available, nice on site pastries for breakfast in the morning which weren’t too overpriced and a lovely pub right next door which was fab and very welcoming. Will definitely stay again!

Excellent site and lovely location. Toilets, showers always clean. Everything you need for a site including a shop. Right next to a lovely friendly pub and dog friendly.

Le 4 août 2022. Très beau camping avec tous les services. Très propre et accueillant. Proximité avec le très beau parc New Forest avec ses chevaux en liberté.

Sehr schöner und relativ großer Campingplatz. Alles sehr gepflegt, gute Sanitäranlagen, freundliches Personal. Die Umgebung erinnert an einen verwunschenen Zauberwald, ideal für Spaziergänge mit und ohne Hund.

Stayed a couple of nights, very generous pitch, a little sloped, but thats what leveling wedges are for, clean facilities, well stocked shop, pub/ restaurant on the doorstep, dog friendly with some lovely countryside. definitely recommend this site

Stayed for one night. Quiet campsite with onsite shop and pub - nice place to go for dinner or a few drinks (and has free wifi). Very on it with covid regulations. Really poor mobile signal.
