Have stayed here many times over the last few years nice and quiet next to golf corse and massive park with out door gym equipment free parking all year round

Second time we have stayed here and this time we learned there is a cafe at the golf club where you can grab a delicious breakfast. The golf club parking is also parking for the country park so suspect you may be able to park there overnight too but in the trees to the left as you get past the children’s play area was good. What I will say is that cars start arriving pretty early for the golf club
Für eine Nacht auf der Durchreise ok. Viel Verkehr auf der doch kleinen Straße. Im Waldstück eher gruselig, weshalb wir am Rand vom Park standen.
it was okey. we though it was a dead end at the start so we were surprised by the amount of cars that passed

Lovely spot surrounded by nature. Don’t stop in the main car park, the best part is a little further on, just in front of a gate that says access for emergency vehicles. We arrived about 10:30pm and it was very quiet
Calm spot in the forest, had a good night, despite some weird and drunk people passing in the evening.
Be aware the area at the bottom near the golf club is a private car park. Please do not use.
very nice surroundings lots of birds and wildlife but also alot of activity on a night door cars banging and people until around 1am (it was a weekend) but overall nice park up
Great spot to stay at. As others have said carry on a bit further through main parking bit and park under trees to left. We got there quite late, some local kids with messing around in cars but left before midnight and an undisturbed nights sleep. Dog walkers started arriving 8 ish and cats for the golf club at 9ish. Will use again as very convenient off M1 to break journey.
Prima Übernachtumgsplatz und tatsächlich weiter hinten unter den Bäumen ist es schöner als ganz vorne an der Wiese. Nachts immer mal wieder Bewegung am Platz.
Parking situé entre 2 terrains de jeux et de promenades des chiens. Ils ont mis des poteaux et pierres qui ne permettent plus de se garer comme sur la première photo. Il reste quand même quelques places mais pas pour les + de 7m. Par contre, c’est bruyant la nuit, car des gens se promènent jusque tard, et le matin, très tôt, il y a déjà bcp de promeneurs. Pas top !
Very quiet at night, plenty of space and yes, don’t park at the entrance. Go further to enjoy a peaceful night in the forest. No facilities. Three mobile reception is only 1 bar but ok.
Great spot, repeating what others have said, go further down, don’t park immediately as you come in, nice roomy parking on the left by the trees. Nice walks locally, a few cars came along in the evening but was all quiet by 10pm
Good over night spot, like previous comment says don’t park immediately as you come in on the right there’s a better spot further down on the left in the woods. A bit of activity in the evening and got flashed by cars as they came past but no late night activity goers bothered us! Decent amount of space, managed to fit L3 boxer in under the trees.

Great stopover but the squirrels were having a great time shelling their nuts in the beech tree which resulted in our van covered in them lol
Lovely stop over. Don’t park as soon as you go in on the right. Drive down a little further n there’s a nice spot on the left in the little wooded area.
4* = Good. Stayed a night last night tucked in beside the trees. Nice green place. Cars drive up and down but the last one was at 10:15pm. Noisy birds too lol.
Very quiet location close to town but off the beaten track.
Great night's stopover. Stayed last night. Yes, few cars driving by at night and people arriving in the morning but nothing major. We seemed to be the only van last night. Cafe at the end but haven't used, was closed when we arrived yesterday evening. Overall, a great stay, thanks Nottingham Council.
A little noisy initially with cars and music, just low key. By 11 pm silence and we had a great nights sleep. Good spot for walks and cycling. Good stopover not far from the motorway.
Great spot if you go a bit up the road from the main car park there’s a more secluded spot
Lots of parking space available, nice walks and good views.
Nice spot.pity about locals kids in loud exhausts racing up and down until 11 o’clock.
