The Mellon County Inn offers free stopovers for caravans and motorhomes. Good food and excellent staff. Close to The Ulster American Folk Park. We parked in the Upper Park rough hard standing but away from the main road. They even left the floodlights all night for our convenience

Stayed after a day at the folk museum. Free to park at for the night. We used the area above and behind the main car park just to be out of the way and further from the road, but they're happy for you to use the main car park too and that has security cameras on it. The inn itself is very nice and the staff were so friendly. We had a great night.
Great spot to stop, very quiet in December and were given the choice of the upper carpark or the main if we wanted the security of cameras but after reading of road noise we chose the upper and it was lovely and peaceful. The bar was great for entertainment and food with really friendly staff and breakfast the next day sets you up nicely. We'll definitely come back again
Lovely pub very welcoming and food and Guinness were very tasty. The only draw back is THAT road. It is so noisy. Continued until around 10 and did quieten down a bit but big artic lorries still thundered past during the night. No camping above the pub now as it’s being used as a work place for heavy plant etc. it’s a shame as the place itself is lovely 3* due to road noise
Good stopover between Omagh and Newtownstewart. Quite a bit of road noise but OK from late until early morning. The hotel's food was excellent ( ignore recent Tripadvisor reviews !)
solo female traveller, only one overnight on a Sunday, only one here.felt safe with floodlight on. parking free with meal at the Inn. food excellent. only drawback is that part of the carpark now given over to stone materials storage so at 8 am Monday, various vans came to collect materials. highly recommend visit to nearby Ulster American Folk Museum
Absolutely fab little stopover. Lovely staff and amazing food that's great value for money. Carpark slopes in some places but pretty quiet of a night.
Great sopt for an overnight stop. The food in the hotel was lovely. parked in the top stoney car park and used levelling ramps as the ground was slightly uneven.
Stayed here last night, stone surface so the dogs weren’t keen, but away from the main road. Quiet enough, few other camper vans here, no bins in the immediate are so we’ll take our rubbish onwards. Decent free spot for a pit stop, plus it’s free.
Used as a stop over on route to Co, Donegal.. Food in hotel was really good and from well priced. Stayed in top carpark. Busy road but quitens later in evening then starts again around 7am. Very safe as you cant be seen from road
Nice place to stop river nearby for fishing road a bit busy though but safe
