Lovely spot to stay, one lady who was staying on a boat, wasn’t happy we was parked here, she tried to block us in. Apart from that would recommend.

Weatherman12/05/2025A great little stop for the night .arrived at about 4pm and had the only space . Busy with fishermen and dog walkers . Wouldn’t recommend a van any longer than 6.5m as you would stick out into the road .

Nice little park up. Right next to the canal. Lovely views. There were a few dog walkers that parked up but overall it was very quiet. There were 3 cars that parked during the night at various times, I’m presuming they were staying close by. The only thing i wasn’t keen on is the camera on the fence opposite the parking area that faces directly at the cars

Beautiful, quiet spot next to the canal. Quite a few dog-walkers come and go, so be prepared to return if no spaces available. There is an Aldi 5 minutes away (with toilets). Nice, long walks alongside the canal.
RichardSwift21/03/2023Tiny gravel area, right next to canal. Next to a minor road, but no cars from 10pm to 7am. Lots of dog walkers use this space, which will fit 4/5 vehicles. Lovely spot, just the 2 vans here when I stayed. Lovely canal walks from here too. One downside- the house on the other side of the canal to the car park, has the biggest,brightest security lighting ever. Your van will be lit up.

Fab spot. Lovely walk along the canal path into Rufford around 40 mins to reach the marina. Nice pub called the Hesketh Arms serves food and good beer.

lovely quiet stop. Arrived in the dark and woke on a sunny day in a very pretty place. Bridge and corner fairly tight but I got my 7.5 m van through no probs.

Stayed here last nite lovely spot out of the way first wild camp and we loved it if you are ever stuck for somewhere to stop highly recommended

Slept here last night. It was incredibly quiet. Just me. Dog walkers arrived in the morning. Very pretty area and nice walks along the canal.
