Der Campingplatz ist heute 30.09. Schon gesperrt. Bzw. Wir dürften stehen bleiben, aber es gibt keine Dienstleistungen mehr. Nur WC bis ca. 19 uhr wäre gegangen, dafür alles kostenfrei. Das Gästehaus ist aber noch in Betrieb 5 Sterne da der Platz sehr sauber ist, viele Vorteile bieten würde und der Herr sehr freundlich und ehrlich war
Le cadre est agréable c'est vrai mais comme souvent les services sont limités et qui plus est dans un bâtiment municipal à côté. Douche en l'avais état. Électricité uniquement sur emplacements gravillonnés. pour le prix 2500isk/p c'est plutôt limite.
Weitläufiger, sehr gepflegter, gerader Campingplatz mit Wiese und Asphaltplätzen. Freundlicher Besitzer. Viele Steckdosen. Eine Dusche und WC‘s in einem Seminarhaus. Anmeldung im Café/Restaurant nebenan. Wir haben eine ruhige Nacht vor der Fährabfahrt verbracht. Traumhaft abgelegen vom Trubel.
Very large campground, busy with local holidaymakers in summer. Checkin at Café. Well-maintained meadow and facilities including an excellent shower (there is only one, but it's spacious and included in the price). Some pitches are a little sloping. Waste disposal somewhat hidden in the car park, fresh water is available from the washbasin in front of the house. Mobile phone reception ok.

2000 ISK pp, No sign of reception when you arrive, only one shower, no place for cooking and doing the dishes, doesn’t look like a real campsite. Toilets were in a different building that was used for a wedding when we were there. 2 stars because the pitches are flat and WiFi.
Davvero molto carino, i responsabili gentilissimi e il posto splendido. Bagni pulitissimi, ci sono tavolini all’aperto e un vasto prato. Peccato che non ci sia uno spazio per cucinare al coperto con i fornelletti in caso piovesse.
Sorry to disagree with previous reviewers, but this is really not the best camping site around. In my view, five stars is heavily overrated. It lacks "naturality" (if that's a word). True, if you're looking for comfort and facilities, it's good. For nice, spacious (but more sober) spots, surrounded by nature and right next to the water, go to the south side of the lake for better alternatives.
Great place to stay. The camping is clean and well maintained. It's quite new. There is a shower, and they can do laundry for you for 1000kr. There are also two common rooms to stay and chill, one with TV and some books and boardgames. The owner is a great and kind guy! You can also book a room here and I think eat breakfast.
Very calm place, camping fee 2000 ISK, new clean and warm showers and toilets. Grill area, swings for kids. The owner was very kind and friendly. These is also a guesthouse next to it. We liked it so much we came back for another night.

We expected the Camping closed. But surprisingly found it open and this till mid of November 2023. Go for it, it’s perfect for a few days.

Sehr ordentlich und aktuell nicht überfüllt. In der Hochsaison möchte ich hier nicht sein. Im Herrenbereich gibt es nur eine Toilette. Das ist leider recht überschaubar, auch wenn diese am Nachmittag noch sehr ordentlich ausschaute.
1800 par pers. Très beau cadre et pas beaucoup de personne. Possibilité de prendre une douche gratuite et chaude. Les sanitaires sont très propres et chauffés avec prises gratuites. Il n’y a pas de salle pour faire à manger ou pour manger à l’intérieur.
Nice and big campside. Toilets and shower really clean. They have a restaurant with delicious food and the staff is lovely. They offer the restaurant kitchen to the campers in winter when the restaurant is closed. Only backside is one female and one man shower for the entire campside.
Super schöner Platz, ruhig und sauber. Sanitär WC und Dusche sehr neu und sauber in einem Gebäude. Spüle ist draußen. Man wird sehr nett empfangen. 1800 ISK ohne Strom
Die Stellflächen sind sehr gepflegt. Es gibt ein sauberes Badezimmer und eine kleine Gemeinschaftsküche + Waschmaschine. Eine weitere Toilette ist neben der Rezeption. 2 Toiletten sind sicher zu wenig für diesen großen Platz, zumal eine Toilette ja schon beim Duschen blockiert wird. Die Übernachtung kostet 1800 isk pP ohne Strom. Der Seniorenrabatt gilt erst ab 77 Jahre! Wir waren noch zu jung.
Très vaste, très plat, très bien entretenu, très bel environnement, c’est parfait ! D’autant qu’une réduction est appliquée aux seniors (1200 isk par personne)
Unser lieblings Campingplatz auf Island! Sanitäranlagen sehr sauber und neu. Ein besuch im schönen kleinen Restaurant (dort wo die Rezeption ist) lohnt sich. Essen und Gastgeber sind top. Unbedingt den Hauseistee aus Löwenzahn probieren!
petit camping avec sanitaires très propres. Douche très chaude. 1800 ISK par personne sans électricité. Possibilité de faire le plein d'eau. pas d'emplacement pour vidanger les eaux grises ni les eaux noires. très calme. Ce soir la salle commune est privatisée par un groupe pour une réunion familiale.
Es al lado de un edificio que no descubrimos que función tiene. Una parte de él la han equipado con una ducha de agua caliente y WC. No tiene zona de cocina, ni fregadero exterior, al menos para fregar los utensilios. La zona en bonita y tranquila. Solo nos quedamos nosotros.
Viajamos a finales de septiembre, lugar fantástico y tranquilo. Hay zona común con cocina (con todo el menaje de cocina y 2 mesas y 8 sillas, y un baño grande con ducha súper calentita. También dispone de lavadora y secadora (nosotros no la utilizamos). El lugar tiene WiFi que abarca todo el camping. Nos costó la noche 1500 ISK por persona. La mujer de la recepción muy amable y atenta!
Stopped in the camp by chance due to weather conditions, wind was too strong so we had to spend all day there. Nevertheless, we liked it a lot. Lots of space, stunning surrounding, clean. Place has electricity to charge trailer, showers, toilets, common kitchen.
