Camping Atlavik. Petit camping en forêt sans électricité ni sanitaires. Il n'y a qu'un seul bâtiment de toilettes. Le jardinier fait la tournée le soir et encaisse les frais. Le site appartient au camping Höfðabakka, à 2 km, où il y a aussi de l'électricité et des douches.

Camping de montaña espartano, muy limpio y muy bien cuidado, con hierba y amplias parcelas no delimitadas. 8 lavabos y 2 duchas calientes (funciona con 5 monedas 100 kr=500kr para 5 m agua caliente) Ubicación espectacular a lado del lago Todos los servicios incluidos: agua caliente fregaderos, vaciado de aguas grises y negras y toma de agua. Reciclaje de basura bien organizado. Ranger muy amable
Very popular with local holidaymakers & well frequented in summer. Camping in the forest by the lake is something really special in Iceland! There're 3 washing machines and 1 dryer: 100 ISK coins required (14 minutes of electricity each, so washing possible from 400 ISK). Team comes to you in the evening to collect payment (and to cancer coins if you need them).
Der Campingplatz hat uns gut gefallen, und entspricht der Eingangsbeschreibung, danke dafür. Wir haben am 02.07.2025 für zwei Personen 4.600,- ISK (2x2.100,- pro Person plus 400,- Tax) bezahlt. Der Preis ist selbstbewusst vom Betreiber.
Magnifique endroit, on a dormi les pieds dans l’eau et en bord de forêt (ce qui est rare en Islande). Sanitaires corrects et pas de douches. On a eu la chance d’y voir des aurores boréales.
Sehr schöner Platz aber mit 1900 ISK zu teuer, zumal keine Preisliste an der Rezeption hing. Oben ist von 1700 Kronen zu lesen. Nach nun 13 Übernachtungen war dies der teuerste Platz.
Closed for the winter but looks like an amazing place to stay over.
Lage des Camping sehr schön, Besitzer kommt abends zum Zahlen, Sanitäranlagen waren so naja und es gab keine duschen, Waschmaschine und Trockner gegen Bezahlung
We wondered whether it's worth to drive down the lake for half an hour to get to this place and it's definitely worth it. We camped directly next to the Lake enjoying a beautiful sunset. There's also a short 3 minute hike northwards up to a rock where you have a better view on the lake. Probably the best camp we've been to in Iceland because of the lake view. It seems that there are no showers.
Beautiful spot, showers available next camping (500isk in 100isk coins for 5min but try with 4coins-it will work too) sometimes it smells like sewage on the campside
Ein wunderbarer Platz auf dem man direkt am Wasser stehenkann. Viele Abteilungen mit Bäumen und Hecken.
