Place de parking hors route Moorland face à l'ouest. C'est une petite place de parking juste assez grande pour une camionnette. L'endroit est sur la droite lorsque vous conduisez de Clitheroe jusqu'à Pendleton Moor à environ 150 mètres après avoir traversé la grille de bétail. Pas de commodités, mais il est de niveau, offre une vue imprenable sur le coucher du soleil et la lande offre de nombreuses possibilités de marche, de randonnée ou d'observation d'oiseaux. Le seul inconvénient est que vous n'êtes qu'à 5 mètres de la route et que la route était assez bien parcourue le soir avec du trafic entre Clitheroe et Sabden. Du jour au lendemain, la circulation était beaucoup plus calme. Si cet endroit est occupé, il y a beaucoup plus d'espace plus haut sur la route à gauche et à droite.
Moorland off road parking spot facing West. This is a small parking spot just big enough for one van. The spot is on the right as you drive from Clitheroe up onto Pendleton Moor about 150 mtrs after you cross the cattle grid. No amenities but it is level, has awesome views for Sunset and the moorland has lots of walking, hiking or bird spotting opportunities. The only negative side is you are only 5 meters off road and the road was fairly well travelled during the evening with traffic between Clitheroe and Sabden. Overnight the traffic was a lot quieter. If this spot is occupied there is lots more space higher up the road on your left and right.
Moorland Off Road Parkplatz nach Westen. Dies ist ein kleiner Parkplatz, der gerade groß genug für einen Van ist. Der Punkt befindet sich auf der rechten Seite, wenn Sie von Clitheroe etwa 150 m nach dem Überqueren des Viehgitters auf das Pendleton Moor fahren. Keine Annehmlichkeiten, aber es ist eben, hat eine tolle Aussicht auf den Sonnenuntergang und das Moorland hat viele Möglichkeiten zum Wandern, Wandern oder Vogelbeobachten. Die einzige negative Seite ist, dass Sie nur 5 Meter von der Straße entfernt sind und die Straße abends mit dem Verkehr zwischen Clitheroe und Sabden ziemlich gut befahren war. Über Nacht war der Verkehr viel ruhiger. Wenn dieser Platz besetzt ist, gibt es links oben rechts viel mehr Platz auf der Straße.

Uneven ground (and some too steep to sleep in). Lads in their cars blocked me in, weren't intimidating just playing their music and chatting till about 10pm. Van in opposite lay-by was playing his music and getting in and out of van until he left around 11pm. Road busy with Restaurant staff 11 till midnight then quiet until around 6am. Gorgeous views and lovely starting point for walks.
Room only for one, very close to the road but not as many cars as we thought (not private at all though). The thing that ruins this spot is there’s SO much rubbish left around the parking spot, very sad to see.
Couple of places to park all along the road. Sheeps all around with a great view bonus: a Spanish/Italian restaurant/pub !
Great view stopped here for some breakfast would not stay overnight though quite close to road.
Great spot, bit up a hill but managed it in our 1987 transit. Sheep everywhere rubbing up against the van which was ace. Down sides: fair number of cars going past. as got past 8pm alot of boy racers going past with the odd one pulling onto the verge behind us which wasn't ideal. Would go again but maybe not on the weekend.
